Before I crash out
We celebrated my grandmother's birthday tonight, so it was a bit crowded here. Had the surprise to see that one of my cousin is back from Montreal for about a week (it's the first time we see him in about one year and half) and his brother and his wife, who doesn't really see much of our side of the family since he married her a couple years ago. Kae had a first-hand experience of our inappropriate familial humour (i.e. race jokes).
The kiddos were enchanted to meet her and kinda kidnapped her to play with her. Also, Gemini's still as popular as ever with everyone kiddos and it was so funny to see them come to me to show them the rabbit. And it was pretty cool that they actually came to me before trying to touch him.
Plenty of food, booze and hookah (we've got an unhealthy amount of these here, my mother and one of my brother are very fond of these, and my father did buy an e-hookah-really, it's almost the same thing as an e-cigarette, a while ago). My cousin was a bit disappointed not to see my brothers but well, the oldest lives in Switzerland and the other in Japan so it's not like they could've been there XD
It was a lovely time, albeit exhausting since everyone was asking me tis or tat every time they saw me, and people and noise in general. Also, I was happy that Kae got along with my cousins, and I convinced two of them to go with us have some hamburgers and bubble tea on Monday... Now, I just need to remember charging my phone and texting them the details.
