Before I go to sleep,
let me annoy you a little with soccer, because it stopped me from being productive. Well, I managed to do two banners in... one hour and an half when these things should take me less than ten minutes for both.
As I was saying to Azzie, who got part of my comments almost in real time, I do enjoy soccer once every 4 years. Because France's performance is such a wonder and a mystery that fascinate me to no end. I mean, we alternate critical miss and critical attack at each World Cup (and this year is a critical success). Our players headbutt other, our players are mutineers (and they do it in front of the whole world). It's like drama incoming on the critical miss years. And every World Cup, I'm waiting eagerly for the next episode.
Anyway, it leads us with my expectation of the team this year, which amounted to "at least, they shouldn't rebel this year". And for this Nipple World Cup (geez, this uniform are so tight and with all the heat, humidity and sweat, it a bit like Superman's combination) match-against Switzerland by the way-I wasn't expecting much.
Then, things got interesting and entertaining, and it was actually pretty fun.
17' France scores one goal. I lift my head from GIMP to watch the replay, then lower it. Screams.
18' France scores another goal.
YES, THIS IS TRUE. I don't even. That when the tempest of lulz happened on FB, because we all have lots of hope and faith in the team. That's basically the general reaction:
WHY? OMG WHAT HAPPENED? WHEN DID WE... UGH... OMG... WHAAAAAAAAAAT?! NO WAY! GUYS, DON'T LET YOURSELF HOPE FOR SOMETHING GOOD, IT'S FRANCE XD NO BUT, REALLY, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH FRANCE? WHY ARE WE WINNING? IT'S LIKE ONLY 20 MINUTES IN AND... OMG I JUST CAN'T.
It got funnier because we ended up at 5 - 0 and at that point, we were all like: ARE THEY ON DRUGS? THEY MUST ON DRUGS! THAT'S NOT NORMAL, OMG WHAAAAAAAAAAT! GEEZ, I FEEL SO BAD FOR SWITZERLAND.
At least, they didn't end the match with the infamous 0. Final score was 5 - 2 for France (gods, I'm still baffled about that). There was a 6th but, like, just after the final whistle. Anyway, you should find reports easily if you're interested.

edit: I really did enjoy the game, France played so good that it had a bit of a video game feeling (like fighting against an AI, not too bad but a little sloppy). And Switzerland's goals were amazing too, the end was gooood.
