Life-size Barbie Hummer
Over the weekend, as I was walking into the mall, I saw this. . . . (Yes, it's real. Yes, it was really that pink.)
My initial reaction was, "Oh my god, I have to get a picture!" And so I ran over to it with my camera, discretely peeked in to make sure no one was inside, and snapped away.
Now, I've never been the biggest Barbie fan (I was always a Sanrio girl, even when I was little), but I have to admire how much of fan the lady who drives this Hummer clearly is!
Personally, it's a little gaudy and over-the-top for my taste, but if offered a Hello Kitty Hummer in say, white and pearly pink? Yeah, I have to admit that I'd be all over that.
I did catch a glimpse of the owner and her three pageant-esque looking teenage companions as they strolled out of Dillards. She did indeed look like Barbie, complete with platinum blond hair and a bright pink shirt, but old enough to be my mom.
