Honda Hoods Are All the Rage
Happily I got a call from the cops yesterday saying the found my car in a v. scary neighborhood next to what appears to be a chop shop. The cops said it was only missing the hood and the license plates. Apparently, someone really needed a Honda hood complete with dings. They must be all the rage this year!
So after a lot of hassle, my car is safe at a city lot. Tomorrow I get to get my title from my safe deposit box and go to the impound lot with Towtruck Driver Rich to get my car released and towed to the body shop. Then the insurance co. will decide if it is salvageable. And I get to deal with the DMV about the stolen plates.
