All moved in
I woke up a little early before having to get ready for my first day of work, so I thought I'd just post a lil update.
I'm here in my new apartment in Jersey! Wow, moving in was a bitch though, haha. It took a good 4 days to get everything in/bought and unpacked. The first day when my Dad and I were moving in, the temp was 102 outside. Hot as balls! Basically the entire day of my birthday was spent going in and out (hehe), buying stuff and unloading it, etc. But it was still a good time. Speaking of my birthday...
HOLY CRAP THE ROCKIES ACTUALLY WON ON MY BIRTHDAY!
This is exciting, because has recent history proves that they suck on my birthday:
2005 - Lost to SF
2004 - Lost to Chicago
2003 - Did Not Play
2002 - Lost to Chicago
2001 - Lost to Pittsburgh
Could this be a sign of things to come?!?! (Playoffs baby, playoffs!)
Anyway, my apartment is totally sweet (pink bathroom and all), and I still have some extra room, which I'm not sure what to do with yet. Let me tell you though, buying shades is a huge pain the ass. I hope I don't have to do that again. Luckily, everything else went fairly smooth! I'll post some pictures somewhere at some point.
The location is cool too because I'm not even a mile from my brother's apartment, only around 10 minutes walking, and I'm behind a shopping plaza with CVS, Blockbuster, Italian, Chinese, Liquor Store (Hell yeah!) and a food store. So it's cool that I can walk and/or bike around for what I need and not drop lotsa money on gas.
So things are goin pretty well for me right now. And they got better last night, because...
FOOTBALL HAS RETURNED!
Last night was the Hall of Fame game (Eagles vs Raiders), and even though its only preseason, I'm still glad to see NFL Football for the first time since February. I'm getting pumped for the upcoming season, even though the Bills will be one of the worst teams. September can't come soon enough!
Well, thats about it for now, time fo some b-fast.
