Since my fandoms have been kind of dead for the last few days, I've spent what little free time I have watching s02 of Dallas.  (I watched s01 as it aired, but I fell behind very quickly on s02).  I just watched episode 8, which is J.R.'s funeral episode.  I spent literally the entire hour crying.  I mean...WTF is wrong with me?

First off:

OMG, YOU GUYS!  THE DOCTOR IS IN!  MY REASON FOR LIVING AND BREATHING AND WALKING THIS EARTH HAS RETURNED AND JUST....OMG, I AM SO EXCITED!  I HAVE MISSED HIM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

*cough*

Now that that's out of the way, on to my actual thoughts:

Elisabeth Sladen, the amazingly talented and beautiful actress who played Sarah-Jane Smith in both Classic! and New!Who and on Sarah-Jane Adventures as well as K-9 and Company, passed away this evening at age 63 of cancer.

My good friend Jenn Bailey passed away this morning.  I don't know what to do.  I can't even seek comfort in my favourite things for they were her favourite things as well.  She too loved Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, Doctor Who, The Office, Daughtry, and God.  What do I cling to right now ( Read more... )
