As promised, Lita and Randy arrive to the lobby exactly 30 minutes later. Lita’s hair is still damp from their shower, the redhead thankful that it’s not the middle of winter as they head outside. Because they’re on the West coast, they decide to walk from the hotel until they find a restaurant that they can all agree on.
Victoria shot her friend a curious look, “I thought you showered before we left the arena?”
Lita nodded, “I did,” and then she nodded to the St. Louis native, “he didn’t.”
“And you’re telling me that it takes y’all half an hour to take a damn shower?” John said and then sent an incredulous look between Lita and Randy.
Randy and Lita exchanged a look, one that was almost missed by everyone else.
Mickie snickered, “somehow I don’t think they were just taking a shower.”
“Ew man… I didn’t need to know all that.”
“It’s not like we told you anything, dumbass,” Randy retorted, one arm around Lita’s waist. “You just assumed.”
Cena arched an eyebrow, “so you’re gonna tell me that all y’all did was take a shower?”
Randy scoffed, “I’m not telling you anything because our sex life has nothing to do with you.”
Before John could say another word, Adam punched the West Newbury native on the arm. “Dude, just do me a favor and shut up. I don’t need any further visuals, thanks.”
John shuddered almost comically, “man, it’s too late for that. I ain’t gonna get that image outta my head.” Making a face, he added, “I think I done lost my appetite.”
Adam snorted, “Someone mark this day on the calendar as the first time ever that John Cena would lose his appetite.” A beat passed, “and in that case, I’ll pay… now that I don’t have to worry about feeding that bottomless pit.”
While John and Adam argued, Mickie and Victoria chit chatted about living on the east coast versus being on the west coast. Lita and Randy, meanwhile, simply continued on with their own conversation, languidly bringing up the rear of the group.
