After an exhilarating adventure parasailing, Amy and Alex head back to the beach to relax, making arrangements first to have the pictures and DVD from their excursion sent to Amy’s apartment. Alex is seated in front of her, the redhead massaging his shoulders.

“Do you remember when we met?”

“Yes…” She paused, chin perched on his shoulder, “why do you ask?”

Alex half shrugged, “just curious.”

Amy arched an eyebrow, “what? Are you asking me what I thought of you or something?” She resumed her previous movements, “even though you don’t give a shit as to what people think about you?”

“Has your opinion changed?”

“Not really…. I still think you can be immature and obnoxious, a smart ass…”

“Want to get to my good qualities?”

“Who said those weren’t your good qualities?”

Alex half smirked, trapping her wrists in one hand while he started to stand; taking her with him, partially carrying her over his shoulder.

“Damn it, Shelley, put me down.”

“Oh, I’ll put you down all right.”

“Alex I’m serious, cut it out. I don’t want to waste time by having to change.”

Maneuvering her so she was in his arms, the brunette winked, “trust me, Ames, we have plenty of time before everyone else gets here.”

As the words left his mouth, he attempted to toss her into the water, Amy managing to hook her legs around his which caused Alex to stumble and join her; the pair emerging together.

Amy scowled, “did you have to do that?”

Alex shrugged, “why not? I mean, you did say I was immature.”

“And I still stand by that,” Amy retorted, “and now, thanks to you, we have to walk through the lobby all soaked.”

“Who cares?” Alex brushed the notion off, walking back to their abandoned beach towels so they could pick up their shoes. “Seriously, when have you ever given a shit about what people think?” And when she huffed, he nodded. “That’s exactly what I thought.”

In a slight peace offering, he stood in front of her, Amy taking the hint and hopping up; the pair running into Jamie and Josh when they returned to the hotel.
