Life keeps happening. With or without you. You can ignore it. Or avoid it. Try to run from it. totally rail against all of it and fight and kick and scream. Drift along with it. Deal with it. We have lots of choices.  You just can't 'deny' that it's going to keep happening. Sometimes I sit here and think... okay, this month's bills are paid, got ( Read more... )

Oh my god, that has to be the strangest story I've heard in a long time.

I'm sorry Ian's car got fucked up. *hugs*

Thanks. It was his first ever new car. You know, that no one else had ever owned before. So when your first new car takes a knock like that it hurts a little extra I think. But it's all going to be okay so that's good. :)

:hugs: miss you!!!

I spy, with my little eye, a Lunasunny! My world is now right again.

Your story reminds me of the old saying goes: "Losing my faith in humanity, one person at a time." People just suck. I'm glad Ben is okay and am also glad that Ian's car wasn't completely trashed, but what a fucking hassle and way to ruin someone's day.

But, you can bet if that asshole continues to go around swinging tire irons at perfectly innocent people, one of these days someone is going to shoot him in the face. It's just a matter of time.

I hope they track him down and actually charge his with assualt or ticket him or SOMETHING! Plus, just someone like that needs a wakeup call for their own sake too. I mean.. I've wanted to go medievil on drivers before. Lots of befores. But you know... I don't. Like most of us. Life man. Parker Brothers are fuckers. ;)

Ian has huge strength of character. I totally saw a whole other side to him while he was dealing with all the details with the police and insurance etc. It was a good side. :)

Thanks. :) Yes, I'm glad that no one was physically harmed. At any point any of us could find ourselves in some crazy happenstance situation like that. Angry people are so unpredictable.

Ian is pulling thru pretty well considering. Him not being there when it happened added to the whole being a victim of crime without like... no chance to even try to prevent it. Totally sucks. Makes me want to hug everyone I know and tell you all to just look out man. Be safe and stuff. :) Well anyways, I guess we had an experience and that's that.

Girls only brunch sounds awesome!!! I have been totally jonesing for girls brunchy type stuff. I have to take a pass though. After a already long week of winter I figured that to end the week and start to weekend on such a bummer that I would do something extra cool fun for Ian this weekend. So Sunday we are getting up for breakfast (ehh, it will probably be lunch but we are eating pancakes sooo.... anyway :) then I want to try to do a museum or something. I'm figuring out what tomorrow. ::shrugs:: We need to get out of the house and do something different anyways. We didn't go out on V day anyway so this is sorta for that to. :)
