In Which Allergies Persist

Ugh...

My allergies have been HELL lately.

Not that they aren't every spring.

Poking around pollen.com, Eugene is the worst place for pollens right now with a rating of nine or so, going up to ten tomorrow. Ouch. I think I'll hide inside.

This year, though, I've figured out that my main allergen is grass. Which...makes Eugene even shittier of a place to live in, as the valley is the Grass Capital of the WORLD.

Looking up what the pollen rating is in my old home town, where I also suffered from allergies, shows it to be around a 6-7 this time of year. Not as bad as Eugene, but still yech.

Out of curiosity, I poked what New Mexico has for pollen this time of year...

4. It's a four.

The concept of not having horrendous allergies every spring is...mind boggling.

Anyway, I was poking around some sites for a natural cure since popping an anti-histamine every morning hasn't been doing a terribly huge amount against allergies this year. I mean, it probably IS, but I'm still having more allergy symptoms than I'd like, most notable at the moment is an itchy/sore throat.

Found one possible cure, which is organic apple cider vinegar, mixed with a little honey (possibly added to tea, since we all know I am a tea whore).

Of course, the site I found that discusses it as an allergy cure also says apple cider vinegar will cure pretty much everything, including gout and PMS. So I'm taking the idea with a grain of salt, but hell, right now, anything to help would be nice. The allergies have not been helping with my exhaustion and getting a good night's sleep....

Anyway, I owe several memes, but I'm EXHAUSTED at the moment. They will be completed later. @__x
