I don't get the Unohana/Kenpachi either, frankly. There ISN'T any subtext there, and... well, I just don't think they'd go together well at all. It's a bland pairing at best, and considering Kenpachi is one-half of the duo that's really saying something.

That about sums up my disbelief in how popular the pairing is. With SessKag, even if you ignore the fun-fun interactions in the anime, manga, and movies as subtext, there's the potential for personality clashes, which in turn fuel chemistry, so on and so forth. Unohana and Kenpachi...-__- Mew.

I wasn't aware that you were into Bleach, though. ^_^ And I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found Orihime riding on Kenpachi to be cracky subtext. XD

And all I can think of is the Bleach rock musical with Emo Ichigo and Angsty Renji. Or was it Emo Renji and Angsty Ichigo? So want to watch that again....::snickers::

I'm so behind on my episodes. I don't even know if they're still fansubbing them since it got licensed over here and will be running on Cartoon Network, or some other channel.

Angsty Ichigo and Emo Renji, because Renji was totally EMO.

I think they're still fansubbing them --some of the groups, at least.

Heh, you think that's bad >_< Byakuya/Renji/Orihime three-way ..WTF ?! Also, Urahara has apparently had an affair with the entire cast of Bleach at some point. Conclusion: Bleach fans need to actually want the show/read the manga -_-;;

KenpachixUnohana...I can't imagine it being anything but flat.

Urahara is a pimp. XD That particular fandom view is based on his easy-going personality, I'll bet.

And since when has watching a series been requisite for being a fan? *raised eyebrow* (I liked YGO because of the fanfiction I read; I watched the show several months after I got into the fandom.) Though to be fair, the Bleach pairing nuts do need some background on their cast of choice.

Well, it's good to see the Bleach community is at least overly creative. I saw Ichigo/Hitsugaya today, and the day before there was Grimmjaw/Orihime.

I've realized that Orihime has been paired with every single character in Bleach -male or female- -_-;;; Is it wrong that I kind of want her to end up with Tatsuki? Or Ishida...

My brother and I quite enjoyed all the subtext for IshidaxOrihime during the Soul Society Arc. We kept yelling,"Canon fodder! Canon fodder!" XD

Orihime can be paired up with pretty much anyone because she's unique. Her powers have three different types of abilities represented. Heck, even Zaraki x Orihime is plausible --she has those funny doohickies which might actually be able to do damage if she puts her mind to it, which Zaraki being the fighting fiend he is would probably find interesting!

Grimmjaw x Orihime...he's the one who lost his arm, right? That could be an interesting setup...Or is he the dude in your icon? I can't keep 'em all straight.

My Bleach OTP is of course Hitsugaya/Hinamori. ^_^ I enjoy Ichigo/Rukia/Renji, but it's hard to find it well written and IC. (Which I find funny, because IC it's so EASY to see the OT3ness. OOC...not so much.)
