I said too much at lunch today. *sigh* I probably came off like some egotistical nutcase. I always wind up saying the wrong things to my parents, and it sucks. Talking with my parents the way I talk with Joelle just...no. I'm a moron, and I said too much in all the wrong ways.
Worse, the parents and I ragged on Mark so hard he left the table.
Oddly, he wound up at the club library, reading a romance novel. Crazy boy, trying to find out what girls want. Pfft. It's an impossible task.
I learned that his girlfriend is going to be a high school senior this coming schoolyear. Mark will be a sophomore in college.
....This squicks me out. Not going to lie. I had been under the impression she was already a senior, but I was wrong. And honestly, I can't imagine her parents being all that thrilled with a college boy hanging around their daughter. *sigh*
I received yet another lecture today on finding my way and the like. Yay.
I should've stayed in New York.
