Wondering thoughts
Overlapping, contradicting,
Here and there
A sudden hush.
A calm debate,
Between two people.
Only problem is,
Both voices reside
Inside, my own head.
Emotional turmoil.
But more worrisome is
The neutrality that has,
Consumed my entire being.
All the while
Thoughts are racing.
Moving slowly towards,
Inevitable climax-
Emotional decline.
A decision must be made,
Pain will follow.
No respite.
No escape.
Trapped.
