blessings...
i am grateful for my ability to love...for life would cease to matter if i were no longer able to have an open heart.
i am grateful for the hairs i have left on my head...for i would be ever chillier without them.
i am grateful that i am alive and breathing and walking and well...for, someday, i will not have the luxury.
i am grateful that i still have intact senses...for without the sight of lilacs blooming, without the smell of the sea, without the sound of babies laughing, without the feel of sunshine warm on my skin, without the taste of nourishing food, i would somehow be less.
i am grateful for this home...for without it's walls protecting my family from the cold and rain and wind, i would have little sanctuary.
for all these things and more i am grateful. :)
