The beginning of this episode was pretty lame and unnecessary. Good thing Claire was slow with pulling the gun out. You might want to be 100% certain next time you ask your niece to shoot you, Peter.
Oh, Nathan. My poor, conflicted Nathan. He's being pulled in so many directions that the man can barely think for himself anymore. He didn't even seem that thrilled about winning the election! CLEARLY THE MAN IS TROUBLED! I do think the writers are setting him up for redemption or maybe they'll surprise us and have him go completely Dark Side. Still, no matter what, he's the only character on the show that I'm really invested in and I really, really hope the writers see his potential and he gets to stick around next season.
Hiro and his pa training! That was geektastic, y'all. :D
I love Ando but that was a dummmmbbbb move. Maybe there is more to that comic page? I just can't see why Ando would suddenly get it into his head that he could stop Sylar by himself.
(The other) HEIDI WAS HEALED! That made me so happy!!! I just wish that scene had been longer. Although it also broke my heart because Nathan realized in that moment that he couldn't say no Linderman at that point, because he owed him (despite the fact that Linderman is the one who put Heidi in the chair in the first place).
The Hiro + Nathan scene broke my heart in to itty bitty bits. I was on the verge of tears, for real. Don't call Nathan a "villain," Hiro! HE TAUGHT YOU THAT WORD! ;__________; I hope they are BFFs again for the finale.
I cracked up when Nathan called Pa Petrelli "Pop." All I could think about was "I have Pop-pop in the attic." XD alsdfjal;ksdjfslakfdjd;flj! What is it about this show that makes me constantly think of Arrested Development?
OMGWTF, LINDERMAN! I can't believe they did that! His death took me completely by surprise. Nice job, writers. And what a sick/awesome way for him to die, too.
I knew that Ted would have to die eventually, but it was still sad.
Thompson is dead too?! Man, the body count was HIGH for this episode! I can only imagine how many will be goners next week. o_O *Chants* NotNathanNotNathanNotNathanOhPleaseNotNathan!

Nathan's speech at the end was awesome, as was the montage that played with it.
I can't believe next week is the finale! So excited and so scared! The summer hiatus might actually do me nerves some good. ;)
American Idol
Blake owned this one, in my opinion. He is the only one who sang THREE ALL NEW SONGS! He really could've taken the easy way out and re-do "You Give Love a Bad Name," but he didn't. Good for him. "When I Get You Alone" was perfection and right up there with "You Give Love a Bad Name." I loved when he sang Maroon 5 (but I would've preferred it if the producers had chosen "Harder to Breathe") and I was also thrilled by the fact that they showed his performance with Sir Mix-A-Lot!
I ended up fast-forwarding through most of Melinda and Jordin's performances. As I've said before I'm just so sick of the diva routine; although, Melinda is a million times better at it than Jordin, even if Melinda did screw up her lyrics on the song SHE'D ALREADY DONE. I'm kind of mad no one called her out on that one, because you know Blake would've gotten hell if it'd happen to him.
Man, it's amazing how quickly I came to loathe Jordin, but I seriously do now. The constant mugging for the camera is annoying as hell and her movements on stage are just awkward; Blake and Melinda really know how to work the stage. The whole "LOL! :D WHAT?! I love Hanson! Give me a break, I'M ONLY 17!" thing? UGHHHH! I want her gone, NOW!
If there is any good in the world, it will be a Melinda/Blake finale -- Melinda is the best singer left and Blake is the best performer. If it's the two girls in the finale--like I, sadly, have a feeling it will be-- my fast-forward button will be getting a real workout.
