I've asked him to clean stuff when I'm not around before. He gets mad. So I don't ask again for a while. Well fuck it; I'm tired of doing everything.
I stopped at Sbux on the way home, after my 10 hour day, and got him coffee cause he works till midnight. Aren't I a good wife? I get there and he inhales the coffee, tells me he needs to buy bandsaw blades and then bids me good bye. Ok.
Here's where it gets hairy. I get home and there's a stack of opened bills on the desk and he had the morning off and none of them are paid. Fine, they're not late, we can do it tomorrow, I guess. I go to the kitchen: a sink full of dishes. Wait, didn't he have the morning off? And the stove's a wreck cause apparently he cooked breakfast for an army. I go looking for my jeans to wear to work tomorrow that were in a load I asked him to do on Monday but I can't find them. He didn't let them sit this long, right? Wrong. Two loads of laundry that he said were "handled" but definitely were sour and not even close to "handled." Getting pissed. I check the mail: a note that says his car insurance has lapsed because of failure to pay premium. Grr...
So I'm fuming and making dinner when I get a call. He asks me to borrow the car to get something from another store (cause he can't drive his due to no insurance) and I ask if there's anyone else there that can do it and he says "no" so I get in the car and go. He calls again to say "never mind, I took care of it" and I ask why and he gets testy with me, doesn't answer and hangs up. Mother fucker, you better straighten up or I'm gonna get this size 8 up your ass.
I'm leaving him a nasty note before I go to bed and I know it's juvenile but I won't see him tonight and if I don't get it down now, I'll lose my focus. He makes my brain go all fuzzy and there's nothing I can do about it... except put it in writing. ;) I'll let you know how it goes. I'm not naggy and I've been pretty understanding about a lot of the stupid shit that seems to find him but if all I ask in return is to look around and do something once in a while, I think I'm entitled.
