Better today
We had a successful get-together last night, which included me, Collin, Cole, three ladies from my pagan group, two other kids, and one grandma (not Cole's). We had a brief naming ritual for one of the kids and we all added things to his blessing box. And I made an allergy free cobbler that turned out okay!
The pagan friend who might move away said last night that she specifically doesn't want to, and that she told her husband as much...that made me feel lots better. Like there's a good chance we will all stay together. And even if the group dissolves, I think I have a solid friendship built that will last beyond the group (knock on wood!). I am really challenging myself to be more outgoing and social and connect with this person, and the whole group, and it is really making my life better (although I do squirm and feel verrry uncomfotable sometimes).
So definitely more hopeful today. Now I just have to write chapter two.
