Carpe Diem I
Today was the start of my 6-day consecutive scheduled days off.
How that happened is a mystery @_@;;, so I am making the most of them!
However, Justin is now on his 3-week camping trip ._____.;;
I miss him already, but at least it will give me a chance to do what I don't have "time" for!
See my friends more, drawing, exercising and relaxing! Screw the double shifts at work and being there all the time.
This is MY time, and I will enjoy it as I please!
After sleeping early the night before, I awoke at 8 am promptly, rising to see the brand new day.
Soon thereafter, I showered and scurried to get ready for breakfast with my friends at Colonial Cafe at 9 am.
We had some delicious breakfast, and discussed of visiting Kori in Michigan in the first week of August.
I''d like to go and I am considering, but that will also be the week that will be My Birthday Extravanganza!
The Big 2-1! I will be celebrating with 1. My mother and brothers, 2. My friends, 3. My father, and 4. Justin,
Pending days on which days I will be celebrating. Tho my dad did say something about claiming the Saturday after my Birthday.
So we'll see...
And at the spur of the moment,
Kori had suggested that we should go to Mitsuwa, a Japanese grocery store located in Arlington Heights.
Joanna had to leave due to work, and Joe had to get back to work.
So Angie, Kori, and I went. I got the usual items such as candy, pastries, Green Tea ice cream, and er, well, Pocky >_>;;
However, I did buy a Gothic Lolita Bible and some Sake packaged nicely in a pink bottle 8)
Afterwards, We went to random stores: Michael's (I bought supplies to do faceups!), Petco (ew....), and Jewel (to buy pizza)
We hung out at Kori's house and we watched Smoking Aces and the Devil Wears Prada.
Both of which I do recommend seeing! Alongside of course, with Sprite and Pizza.
Later Tori joined us, but shortly left since she was tired :(
All of us then had some delish cheesecake with Sake :3
Nine pm hit and Angie had to leave, and I had to go along since she was my ride home.
So here I am writing about my adventure with my friends n_n
Unfortunately, I didn't go along with what I had planned:
I was to go to Sam's Club and pick up the 2 carrot cakes I had put aside for myself.
One for the party on Saturday- that of which I was going to store in the freezer, and one for my family.
and buy some shoes since mine are in bad shape >_>;;;
As of now, I am waiting for the Dullcote to dry on the Unoa faces and the Sleeping Soo I had acquired, and will be soon painting.
Soon, I will have a K-SS arriving at my house, and probably I will be sending that out. D:
Tomorrow, I plan to get some shoes, get some business done, like school wise =_=;;.
and exercise in the morning: Bike Ride! Starting from North Aurora to Batavia? Geneva? St. Charles?
I don't recall how long that will take @_@;;
It's be so long!
I got to go now-- some Horchata is waiting for me downstairs and I bet my heads are done drying.
Ugh, I'm getting tired already....
