Hello, me again! :) Can I have one more question? After practice (that simple patterns you recommended - and it was actually helpfull and also fun! ^^) I've tried again to follow this pattern and I've had problems with this working in rounds (that "practices" were both made in spirals). Either I have in each other row one extra stitch or start of the row was "wandering" all along the row. (and still somehow number of stitches were bigger at the end then they should be {it's the number in brackets, isn't it?} I think I doing the first stitch of the row in wrong loop or what. I've tried to found something on the internet but found only working in spirals or rounds like shell of the snail. I'm sorry fot teasing you again but maybe you know about some site on internet where it's shown how to work in rounds? Please?
(well, in fact I was going on somehow and now I have one doll almost complete (it's supposed to be Rose) but next time I'd rather be working properly %D)
It took me ages to figure it out too! Well still no idea if I do it "properly" but it works to keep stitch numbers, that's good enough for me. :) So, the trick is, after you make the slip stitch & the one chain, the 1st single crochet of the new row must be worked into the same stitch as the slip stitch was. Then put the stitch marker into the top of this new sc, and do the whole round. When you finish the row, the marker will help you to put the slip stitch to the right place (there will be a stitch-like thingy that must be skipped - it doesn't belog to the current row but is the joining of the previous row
( ... )
Oh, not only me then! That's calming! :)) Thank you very much for another advice! Yes, of course it could be done in spirals but I want it perfect! ;) So I hope it will be better next time %)
Well, I have some respect or what to do The Doctor ;), (and that's why I'm doing Rose as for the first time, not the Doctor) so I'd better follow your exact pattern ^^. (and of course I'll show Rose. I'll post picture(s) in crafty_tardis {only hair and eyes remain now, so maybe it'll be today})
Thank you very much! Link is working perfectly and your Ten is so adorable! <33 I can't wait to try to do my own! ^^ (though I'm afraid it won't be so excellent %) {I'm going to post my Rose in few minutes so you can take a look and see what I mean %)} )
