So we should have about 200 hats for con season this year :D I'm excited. My mom will be mailing them to me (they should be on their way now if my dad remembered to go to the post office).

So far the only convention I'm signed up to go to is MechaCon, which is in Lafayette LA, August 1-3. I've gone the last 2 years and made a lot of money. This year I've moved out of the Artist Alley and into the Dealer's room, so yay!
I've been considering going to BabelCon. It's in Baton Rouge, 2 weeks before MechaCon. It's a small 2day convention (this is it's first year to be 2 days, before it was just 1). It's a Scifi/Gaming convention that's trying to add an anime branch.
A dealer's table with 2 badges would be 75 dollars. 2 badges just to go as attendes would be 60 (of course I don't think I'd go at just attenders, since I'm poor, but the prospect of making money seems good).
It's only just over an hour drive to get there. I'll probably plan to drive home between the conventions but since there's a party LAG is throwing, I might crash in one of the party hotel rooms or bribe some people to let me sleep on their floor.
Anyways, I just need to figure out if I think my hats would be welcomed there or not. I'd really only need to sell like 10 hats to cover the cost so I'd be willing to take the risk if I had someone telling me it would be a good idea.
Also katwalkchan :D your hat is one of the 3 blue cat ones. $20 if you still wanted it, and if you live in the US I'll do free shipping since you're my first random-internet buyer EVAR so I'm all happy about it. I'll post you the picture of it when it finally shows up so you can make sure it's perfect (if you'd rather a different one you can swap for it)
