Went down to Plaza Singapura yesterday to get the Film Fest tickets (finally!). It has been such an ordeal for me this year, usually SO is responsible for getting the tickets as he stays near town but this year he was out of town so the responsibility fell onto me. First, I wanted to buy it from the AXS machine as I read that you could get Sistic tickets there, so off I went to the one near my office but there was no such option! No matter what I clicked, I couldn't find it. Next, I tried to buy online cos I was afraid the tickets would be sold out and whatdoyouknow, the website hanged on me TWICE when I tried to pay up and believeyoume it was a pain in the a** cos we wanted to watch 6 shows and it was hell lot of trouble to click all the movies one by one. Then I thought, hey why not go down to Hougang Mall to buy? And it was so dumb, I couldn't find the information counter!! I've since realised it was on the third floor but the bloody directory didn't show it. Anyway that was the reason I (finally!!) made my way down to Plaza Singapura yesterday to get the overdue tickets. The lady helping me out was quite friendly, as the system was super slow even at her end it took forever. One of the movies we wanted to catch was 'F*ck' a documentary, and there were only seats for the front 3 rows, so the lady said 'your F-U-C-K show only have the first 3 rows left' then she gasped! Haha.... we were laughing so hard. Anyway I got the seats in the corner cos I really wanted to catch it.
After getting the tickets, I took a bus down to Changi Airport to fetch SO since he was coming back from Vietnam. At Hotel Rendevous, a whole bunch of ang mos boarded the bus with their super big luggage. They took up a hell lot of space and they stinked big time! Think they went out the whole day and didn't have time to bathe which explained the smell. Anyway they were just taking up so much space, it was unbelievable! Their luggages were huge!! You can just imagine all the other people who were trying to squeeze onto the bus. The thing was they didn't seem to speak English either so no one could tell them to move, sheesh...
