Something terrible's going on! I just know it! No one can leave the castle without permission, the dance has been canceled, and what if (horror of horrors!) they have to canceled the NEWT exams! No, I just can't think about that, it's too awful!
Something really did happen the other night, though. There were all kinds of clamourous sounds and flashing lights. No doubt there was a row between Dumbledore and some trespassing Death Eaters. Malfoy seems to have disappeared. Can't say that I'm terribly choked up about that. Good riddance.

What do you think is really happening? Has Dumbledore told you anything, Harry? They won't let anyone anywhere near his office now. Filtch keeps a 24 hour vigil in front of his door. He won't even let me into see Dumbledore, and I'm head girl! Can you imagine the nerve of that man? Anyway, Harry, I hope you can get over this sulking bit soon. I know you don't need me to tell you how difficult and distant you've been lately. I know things have been rather strange lately, but I, we, miss you.
