It's hard to accept that I can't do anything about sadness. All I can do is to picture
its image. But by giving a specific picture of this word, does it change the situation? No. I'm still sad, and the painful part is I can't tell sadness to go away.
Why, can you tell your heart to stop beating? Or can you tell your mind to stop thinking?
If I can tell the wind to stop or the leaves to stop falling, I will do it.
But the wind comes in its own way and no one can stop it, especially if it brings coldness, numbness, and loneliness.
And the leaves keep on falling no matter how the tree keeps holding on.
We may not understand why the leaves like to chase pain, but at least they show us that they are strong enough to let go.
