No, I have not been here before. Though I hardly think I would be any more pleased, had this been my second time pulled from where I come from.

Aye. There's some sort of spell on the Mayor's house that drops ye into the lake if ye try to get there.

[He doesn't know about the redirection part of things taking place first. And yes, Sophie thought it was science rather than a spell, but it's easier for him to believe it's the latter.]

Apparently that was the way out before and they don't want ye to go through there again.
