(no subject)
Right now I'm using the internet from home! It's exciting to be here, not only because the internet is fast and reliable, but also just to be home for a few hours. It's a weird feeling though. Because this is only my second time here, and Brian's been living here for over a month already, I feel like I'm in somebody else's house. We have new furniture that I'm sitting on with my cat, looking out at a new view past my laundry. It's very bizarre. Hopefully in a few days I'll be able to spend the night here and cement this, instead of the hospital, as home. Until then it's just nice to get a few minutes out.
Last night we went out to dinner with some family and friends which was nice even though I was pretty tired. A short trip everyday is nice to build up strength and confidence. I don't move around much in the hospital, so to get out and walk around outside is a lot. Maybe even a trip to the grocery store next time (with wheelchair in tow for safety :)
