We have a collection of new filters of various types and expensiveness. Figured we'd try a couple different ones, and also see if we liked the washable-reusable ones at all.

Now, are internets are unreliable too. Am in Starbucks so as to get some work done. We're working on a fix, but it requires buying parts that are not trivial to find. That's assuming we understand the problem. Point is: Need to get in touch with me? Use my cell phone.

So.... one of last week's storms broke something (dsl filter?) in the phone line such that we either have phone or interwebs. guess which we pick.

Point being, use the cell for now, if you need to contact us. We'll probably fix it next week sometime.

Replaced second floor Toilet of Clogging.
Plumber says new one sounds like a Jet Engine.

The tree on my sidewalk is a _flowering_ tree. Eeee!!!
It's still only in the bud phase, but I can see bits of bright pink peeking out.

Bitmonger installed our fancy dishwasher this weekend. We've been using the one that came with the house... 'cause it works and there were more pressing issues to deal with thus far, but now my precious has been installed, and I'm sooooo happy! It still needs to be actually attached with screws and such to the counter/cabinetry, but his drill is ( Read more... )

We've told the contractor to go ahead with the making of the roof. We chose the shingle I posted about before. It'll take about a week for him to get the shingle in question. (Dude. These shingles are huge and weigh a turkish imperial metric buttload.) And mebbe a week to put the roof on. Something like that. Probably have a shiny new roof sometime ( Read more... )
