When my dad drove us home tonight after we went to practice with the car, I saw this tuck and on the back it had the company name. The name was B&B Heating and Plumbing. I found that hilarious. Although only Weija and Karen will know what I'm talking about, lol. Anyway, when I got home the first thing my mom said to me was: "Do you realise that shirt you're wearing looks smaller on you now? You should watch what you're eating, you don't want to get fatter." And I kinda just grumbled a bit. What a nice thing to say....
So, here are some pictures of my trip, again. I only picked out a few pics, since they're all kinda big. But these aren't all of them. There's still 3 more roll of film to be developed. We've only developed 2 rolls.
Pics of Tai Shan (it's a mountain near my home town, a lot of ppl go there, but the day my mom and I went it was very foggy and it rained a bit.)
This is pretty near the top of the mountain. As you can see, it's very foggy, but it might have something to do with the pollution as well.
This was taken when we came down from the mountain. We walked down the mountain, it took about 2.5 hours.
This was taken a bit farther down the mountain. You can hardly see the structure at the top of the mountain anymore.
This rock is at the top of the mountain. It's one of the landmarks of Tai Shan. During my mom's time, there was no fence, so you could actually climb on top of the rock.
Another pic on the top of the mountain. When I was taking this picture I was kinda freaked out, cause I keep on hearing this weird sound inside the black hollow part behind me.
Pics of Jinan, my home town.
Jinan is famous for the springs. There's like 2 dozen or so of them. But it's weird, cause Jinan is suppose to be a very dry place. My hair dries in like 30 minutes there. And ususally there's not a lot of rain water nowadays, but this year we did get a lot of rain, so the springs are running again. Btw, all the pictures are taken in the rain, and they're the same place. I only went back to look at one of them, it's sort of a park with lots of springs. It's called Hei Hu Quan, basically it means Black Tiger Spring. And you'll see why in a minutes.
Nice place, I used to play here a lot when I was a kid. Especially in the summer. Everyone plays by the water to cool off.
Isn't this nice. I love the bridge. And the willows. There's a lot of willows along the side of the river.
This is the reason why it is called Black Tiger Spring. At least that's what I thought. They're suppose to look like tigers I guess, or the Chinese version of a tiger anyway. Although if you think about it, tigers aren't naturally black, there's actually no black tigers at all. So it has to be named after the man made black tigers.
Now, what's China without some ancient structure. The big tall thing you see used to be part of the city wall, so defend against attackers and such. I was up there a lot as a kid.
