Siwon was sitting in their shared bedroom waiting for Hangeng to return home. He was eerily calm, sitting in the dark with the pictures spread around him. Pictures of his Hangeng with someone that was not him. Touching someone that was not him. Kissing someone that was not him. Loving someone that was not him.
After the anger and surprise subsided, and the sadness disappeared over he felt a sense of resolve wash over him. He now knew where Hangeng was going almost every night. He knew whose scent was on his clothes. He knew, and it hurt. He sat in the cold, quiet room, knowing what he had to do. Hangeng was his and no one is going to take him away.
He heard the door open and he knew Hangeng was home now. He knew his routine. He would yell to Siwon to tell him he was home and head straight to the shower to wash of the presence of him. Then he would come to Siwon, asking him about his day, kissing him on the cheek and smiling his beautiful smile at him. Siwon still liked to believe that he only smiled that way for him. He believed in that smile. It was proof that Hangeng still loved him.
“I’m home,” Hangeng called. Siwon smiled bitterly at his predictable lover’s behavior.
He listened as the door closed and the shower was turned on. Then he moved from his spot on the floor, going to his dresser to pull out his .38 caliber pistol. He walked slowly to the bathroom, pushing the door open quietly and leaning against the sink. He waited until Hangeng turned off the water and slid the curtain open. He ran his hands through his wet hair and opened in his eyes. They widened and he jumped in shock as he noticed that he was not alone in the bathroom. He exclaimed something in Chinese and almost slipped backwards.
“Wonnie?” he said, righting himself. “Don’t surprise me like that.” He stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. “Why are you just standing there? You should have joined me,” he smiled cheekily at him and walked closer, pulling him close to him.
Siwon stood there, inhaling in his fresh scent and wrapped his hands around him as well. Hangeng felt something cold touch his back so he jumped in surprise, but Siwon held him securely.
“Hangeng, I know.”
“You know what?”
“I know about you… and Heechul.” He felt Hangeng stiffen in shock.
“W-what?” he stuttered. “What do you-“
“Hangeng, haven’t you done enough lying?” Hangeng pulled back and faced him. Siwon could see the remorse in his eyes.
“I-I am so sorry Siwon. I- i-it just happened,” Hangeng rushed out, his Korean slightly harder to understand. “I’d never want to hurt you. You have to know that.”
“Don’t worry Hangeng. I know that,” Siwon smiled at Hangeng and he could feel his blood run cold at the sight.
“S-siwon?” There was something off about him and Hangeng could feel the hairs rise up on his neck.
“I know you love me Hangeng, not him. But, I won’t allow anyone else to touch you. Ever,” he said coldly.
“What-?” Hangeng’s words were cut off as Siwon pushed his lips forcefully against his.
“I love you,” he murmered against them. Hangeng suddenly felt something cold against the back of his head. He tried to pull away but Siwon had already fired. He watched as Hangeng’s limp body hit the floor, blood seeping on to the bathroom tiles and staining them red.
“We’ll be together forever,” he said as he put the gun to his own head.
A/N: O.O… well… I don’t know what kind of person gets this kind of story idea from the prompt ‘bathroom tiles’. There must be something wrong with me.
