My brain is fried.
Possibly going to the Edinburgh Yarn festival last Saturday was not the best idea healthwise as I am still completely exhausted. I'm really looking forward to having a quiet weekend this weekend. So I've been rather quiet online this week, but I have been reading everyone's posts, just lacked the energy to actually reply.
Things!
1. I made the last payment on my car loan!!!!
2. Edinburgh Yarn Festival was absolutely brilliant, and I bought some gorgeous stuff. I'll make a separate post to spare those of you who have no interest. :D
3. I've been listening to and enjoying Tartan Noir which is an interesting look at Scottish crime fiction with interviews with quite a few big names.
4. Writing comms - this weekend is a
fic_rush weekend so if anyone fancies some company for writing for a few hours, then why not pop in and see us. (Sometimes out definition of writing is very loose - a lot of things fall under the term research. :) )
Also, sign ups for the April
writethisfanfic challenge are open. It's a low key writing comm - set whatever goal you want and then there are daily check ins to see how you are getting on. You can participate as much or as little as you want, and you can comment using OpenID. I've definitely found it helpful in the past.
5. This certainly put a smile on my face this morning - Gates McFadden posting the adventures of her action figure on Tumblr.
6. I'm not doing the reading meme this week - anything I'm in exactly the same place as last week apart from not finishing anything this week.
