I'm going to start posting fic again... No; seriously ;-)
7 days - 7 fics
So… I promised a more active LJ, right? Right! Because I felt compelled to finish my thesis first, I haven’t allowed myself to post the months. But! Thesis is finished (thank heavens) and my days as a student are officially over and so I have run out of excuses.
But as far as fandom is concerned, I thought I needed a push so I came up with this: a 7 fics in 7 days challenge. It is my ambition to post a fic a day for a week.
Why? Because deadlines can be productive, because I have a couple things I’ve been working on and this would be the perfect incentive to post them, because it will give whoever is interested in my writing on LJ a chance to get to know me and my style. Basically because I want to become a more active member of fandom again.
What can you expect? Most of what I write are one-shots maxing out at 2 or 3k, but it’s possible that a drabble or so finds its way into this challenge as well as the first chapter of a longer fic. Anything is possible. As to fandoms; probably mostly HP and AR; but I’ve also been working on a Peter Pan fic and have written in the Gorgeous Carat fandom before.
I have at least three of four fics pretty much ready to go, but I’m also interested in prompts, challenges. Absolutely no promises that I’ll actually write them this week, I have quite a few things I’m working on for which this ‘challenge’ is the perfect opportunity to get serious; but new challenges are always fun and can be very inspiring; if my muse is tickled, the prompt might find its way into one of the seven.
Every fic will hopefully enable my readers to get to know me better; what I like in writing, what I’m good at, what I need to improve, how my personality and personal history influences my writing… Anything!
I hope I’ll manage the challenge and I hope I’ll have at least some readers ;-). It’s always a bit scary sharing written work here online, and I’m a bit out of practice. But I’ll do my best!

Drabble 'Sectumsempra' (H/D) for the H/D Birthday Bash
'Hide & Seek' for the Gorgeous Carat community
'And even in our sleep' for the Flash Rider community
