No place like home ...
I been given fist refusal of a flat ... and I'm having a mare over it.
Really don't think I can afford to take it - but it's a good opportunity and if I take it them my mum would be the boss of my landlord! It's one of the flats next to the Carling Academy and it's supposed to be tiny in the extreme (plus not exactly the best area) - but it's a good price and I think it's the push I need to get the hell outta home before I'm 35 *joke* (I hope !).
Going to go around and see it on Saturday and maybe have a wee call round some places (for loans etc) tomorrow when I'm off. I worked out last night that I'm spending about and extra 200 quid than I earn every month ... I would have to get a rather large loan to collect all the cards into one big debt and then *sob* cut them up. The thought of that actually really upsets me :(
I've had it very easy at home for so long that it's really hard to break away - and I really don't want to renting a place (rather own). But fuck me I have a very positive vibe about this.
Wah ... I can't think about this anymore today ... my head is melted.
Going into town tonight to meet Faye and Rachael - they are wanting to go shopping but since debt is a big ball and chain around my neck at the moment I think I shall be doing a little window shopping, grabbing a coffee for a gab and then heading home to sleep, sleep and sleep some more.
Blonde Jen is having a make-up and wine party tomorrow night at hers and I have been invited, but I'm not too sure if it's a party that they try and flog you make-up or not :( Either way should be a fun way to start my holiday off :) Nothing too hardcore though.
Saturday is possibly Vegas - but I really don't think I can be arsed with it. Might take the notion for it closer to the time ... but so not got the notion for going out at the moment. It all seems like such a big hassle and it's cosy and warm in my house!
Will have to brave the cold next Friday as it's Eva's birthday and we are doing half price cocktails at Fat Cats and then onto Del's for trashy disco and suchlike.
As for what to do during the week, I think I shall be pretending to be a lady that lunches. Want to see as many folk as possible before I return to the world of work.
