I spent all the time leading up to this not thinking about it at all, an attempt at a meditative blankness of mind, with the consequence that when I got there the sight of it in all it's 443ft glory, was immensely terrifying. I need to man the fuck up but will my pathetically thin skin allow that to happen? I doubt it, there's only so long that you can go on believing in something as transparently untrue as happiness isn't there.
