I've had my fill of chemistry, and therefore am submitting this paper in response to: "Write a 1-page paper on what you learned in Chem 125 Lab

As I just critizied you for swearing....I have a short storyrunningsaabApril 29 2005, 11:20:40 UTC
I just got back from chem lecture where they handed back a test at the very end. 85% - not bad considering I went in nearly blind in my most heated of topics (electro chem). However, there was a ten point question which I Understood and somehow managed to get zero points. Long story short I ended up asking the professor about it... me - how come I got zero points on this one (I knew why, but I wanted to see if he knew, I had inverted the initial formula - IE a simple mistake - hardly worth taking all ten points off for) him - well you subtracted this from this instead of the other way around (and by subtracted I knew that he meant divided - he's not smart) me - but I obviously knew what I was doing, it was just a simple mistake, is that really worth zero points? him - did you go to the "workshops", cuz that question was verbatim me - no I don't go to the workshops, I wouldnt need them to tell me how to do something as simple as his him - well that's just how it was graded me - well that's crap
and walked away without letting him finish his BS. I'm considering an nasty email to drive the point home - focusing on the fact that I wish I had given him a worse review than I had (as I originally felt sorry for him). Now there is no sympathy for his lack of recognition. I know the material better than he, the least he could do is boost the 85 to a 90. Half credit sounds like not much to give up for a question that I got less than half wrong. But because I inverted the first step then that makes the rest of my work obviously wrong. He won't make it as a professor.
