Title: He Knows

Summary: 100 words. "Whatever the case may be". Jack takes the case from Sawyer. Kinda lame, but I don't care.

Jack tugs at the case, but Sawyer doesn’t release it. Looking up skeptically, he wonders if Sawyer thinks he’s kidding about the Cephalexin. Sawyer looks him in the eye, his expression grave.
“However she talked you into this, she lied, brother.” Jack holds his gaze, seeing for the first time genuineness in Sawyer’s eyes, and he’s tempted to respond that he isn’t as unaware as he seems. He knows.
He pulls the case from Sawyer’s hand and turns away, headed toward Kate, hoping she’ll tell him the truth now. He watches as she stares out into the ocean. He knows.
