He still loves her. After the hell she’s put him through, after she used him and discarded him. He still loves her.
He’s watching her now, and he wonders why she’s never loved him back. After everything he’s done for her, after he’s proved he loves her. She still doesn’t love him.
He wishes he could rid of his love for her. He wishes he knew the secret to making her love him back, and he knows both those wishes are out of his reach.
But he knows he’s had her once and that if she called again, he’d come.
