Wow, I've had a pretty good day today thus far.

I woke up early and wicked tired to go to this meeting with my faculty advisor. My alarm clock came with the radio knob set all the way at the end, and I haven't changed it, so every morning I wake up to classical music, and not the random non-famous classical music they generally play on public radio and shit, this must be the all-hits-all-the-time station cos they're all famous jams. The other day it was the death march, which is shady.

So anyway, I met with this woman, and she certainly put me more at ease. I think I want to meet with other Div IIIs to see where they are at progress-wise. I think I've decided to explore the interiors of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Scottish Arts and Crafts architect/designer, and the often negelected role of his wife in the design process. Perhaps I'll even compare his work and its influence to Josef Hoffman's Vienna Secession interiors or even Frank Lloyd Wright's Arts and Crafts inspired interiors. Rectilinear Art Nouveau is where its at, and the more I think about it, the more I'm into this idea. I am very into all things fin de siècle and the eruption of modernism in its urban forms (although this is dealing with a very ruralized reaction to urban industrialization and modernism). Anyway, none of you probably care about my thesis topic anyway, but I think its funny that I am essentially doing a thesis on interior decoration, quel homosexuel!

I had a great class afterward, I was really talkative and perhaps too talkative, but I worked some of the issues that were confusing me out in the class discussion and it all felt productive to me. Not to mention the class is small and very intimate and we had a lot of laughs and hung out talking together after class.

What is up with none of my clothes fitting? Now my shirts are too short/small. I only hope I am bulking up and that's why they feel tighter than usual. And my pants too, definitely smaller.

I had one of those vain moments the other night at Amherst in the library, I noticed my reflection in the window by my carrell and was like, damn, I am hot. It's nice to have those realizations and morale boosters from time to time.

Dean Spade is apparently here tonight and thru the weekend. A video he's making is screening tonight and I want to make it, but I don't know where it is. I'll try to make it.

I am at work, hence this crappy and compulsive post.

Oh yeah, I have been so into my music lately, it's a great feeling. I think I am plunging into the Nu-Jazz genre with more vigor than ever and I just love it. All music should be experienced in headphones.

Ok, I'll stop boring y'all to death!
