Here is a picture of the evolution of the written chinese language. I believe the earliest known writings come from over 5,000 years ago. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I think the chinese language is very, very beautiful.
I think this could sum up my attitude towards life. I love learning. I'll read about almost anything. I could spend hours at a time on Wikipedia just searching around.
A life-long goal I have just committed to is being fluent in the four most used languages in the world. I have English to a decent level.... There rest are Spanish, Chinese, and Urdu/Hindi. I can see myself learning Hindi/Urdu in retirement.... However, Chinese and Spanish are both languages I am pursuing now. Another year and I will be fluent in Spanish. Chinese will take awhile... (did I write about this, already? Can't remember...)
