((OOC: Got to finish it! Yeyaya!))
It didn't take long for Luke to reach his room from the
Main Cafe. As soon as he was inside his room, he realized that he was in no way sleepy. Luke scanned the room once again noticing the ever-intruding hairdye box. What was he going to do about that thing anyways? He was beginning to think that it was a waste of a trade, he didn't know of anyone to ask that would help him.
Plus, that model was really getting on his last nerve.
Luke suddenly felt like he needed a nice cold shower. It would help him focus on his own problems.
It didn't take long for Luke to gather up a set of clothes--a red shirt, underwear and black pants (he would keep the vest on, he was rather fond of it). Holding the bundle of clothes and he headed upstairs to the third floor of the mall.
It wasn't as busy as the first and second floor, most of the people in the mall were situated in the lower floors. Luke wasn't even sure if any one did sleep here. He turned left passing the Gym (did he dare try to lift weights?), before making a right into the shower room.
First Luke walked right in the linen closet and got a towel first, it was a habit garnered from childhood. It was a common prank--not with cruel intentions, they were only little kids--to find after you shower that all your clothes were gone, and to go to the linen closet to find it locked. After Luke secured the towel, he went to a shower.
Luke took off the clothes he was wearing, and placed it in a pile, next to the clothes that he would wear and got in, turning on the tap to cold.
Immediately a cold stream of water hit him, it was as if someone had gave him a slap in the face. Luke shivered slightly, but stop as his body got used to it.
There was so much to think about, but the first thoughts in his mind was his reaction to Moon. Why had he gotten up and left like that? It was an obvious answer--he was scared that she would kept saying things that reminded him of his past. Luke now realized that none of the novices had ever said something like that to him. He wondered what he would have said to someone how had.
However, he did not regret what he said to Moon. It needed saying. He knew from experience how to tell when people were prone to apologize for things that didn't need apologizing for. He was like that himself around the Guardian. Luke was inherently intimidated with the zealous figure of the Guardian. The Guardian demanded respect, even though he never once said that out loud. It was just from his attitude. He had so much power over so many.
Luke put two and two together--could there be a "Guardian"-like force affecting Moon?
Why was he even thinking about it? Moon was a mystery to him, he had gone over to her on a whim, there was no rhyme or reason to it. Oh he didn't want to be in the crowded Main Cafe, but he had been drawn to follow Moon, who had gone off by herself.
Maybe it was just a habit, he learned from past experiences.
It didn't matter anyways, he had gone to Moon and this was the result--he was attempting to drown himself in the shower.
He finished showering. Luke turned off the tap and reached for his towel, with was slung over a bar, not that far away from the stall. Wiping himself off he got into his new clothes and headed back to his room.
