DOOM
Ok... So Monday after talking a bit about the lame excuse the cable company gave us, Sean and I went to O'Charley's with Jeeper Eric for dinner. Later in the evening I went out with Ben to make sure his Jeep wasn’t leaking coolant. Tuesday night I went out to Amanda's, we didn’t get a chance to do a lot because she had homework to do but as long as I was with her it didn’t matter that I sat there with her while she did her homework for a while. I can't wait to go see her tonight! I miss her so much already!
Yesterday was crazy busy in the morning at work! Once my boss gets in this morning I have to go do what I did yesterday morning and start setting up a new computer at DPS. I went to lunch with Joe and Ben yesterday, we decided on Thai! I hadn’t had Thai in a long time; it was good! When I got home from work I felt so out of it! I tried to take a long nap but couldn’t fall asleep right away.... I think I might have ended up getting an hour-long nap for what should have been a 2-hour long nap.
Joe came over last night around 9. We looked up movie times and went to the AMC Forum to go see DOOM. So... I've read a lot of bad reviews on the movie and heard from some friends that it was horrible. Joe and I went into the movie with such low expectations that it actually turned out to not be so bad. I’m not saying it was in my top 10 or anything but it held suspense and action throughout the entire movie. My biggest problem with the movie (HUGE HUGE problem) is that even though it did follow the game in some ways it was lacking the most crucial parts of the game… Why can they never get a movie based on a video game correct!!!!? I would go into more detail on this but I don’t want to post spoilers in my journal.
So, dinner last night was popcorn, a frozen coke and nachos… I know… Not the healthiest thing but I did get the large popcorn and frozen coke for free! Thank you movie watcher card! I got home around midnight, I didn’t get a chance to talk to Amanda after the movie… I was tempted to call her several times through the night because I was tossing and turning and just could not sleep! I don’t know what time I finally dozed off but the last time I looked at the clock it was like 1:15am and I still felt wide awake but so tired at the same time! I either had a lot on my mind or that frozen coke did it in for me.
