Denmark, kittens, library, and the Hobbit

Week after week passes in a blur as I keep having weeks of 70+ working hours. I just don't know what I'd do without the lovely, sweet and perfect hubby, who takes care of nearly all the chores around the house, and who never forgets to feed me. :P

In other news, we spent a great weekin Denmark around New Year's. We went with three other couples and 3 kids and had a rather relaxed time. I finally got to read some books that I wanted (rather than had) to read, which was already quite a treat. Other than that, we spent a couple of evenings playing board games and enjoyed the pool, spa and sauna in our holiday home.

Our two kittens were overjoyed when we returned from our one-week holiday. They're a good six months old now and we had them castrated earlier this month. Everything went well with Uchiki, only Yuukan caused herself a nasty infection - but she healed well, too, thanks to the vet's treatment. They're both just as lively as ever; on some days, you can only duck your head, sit still and wait for the whirlwind to pass. :P

They tried to help us, too, when we built our own library. Yes, our own library. We built floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in one of our rooms, so we've finally got enough room to store all our books, CDs and DVDs. The table and armchairs from our living-room were moved there as well to make it a very cozy place.

First some pictures of the finished library - already partly stocked ;)

The kittens love the library, too - especially to occupy free spaces. :P

Last but not least, I've been wondering whether or not there's going to be a "Hobbit" movie after all. Here's some news:
Tolkien Gateway
The-Hobbit-Movie
