And another one of my fish, my last Otocinclus, died. :-(
I more or less expected it this time though, because he was getting thinner and thinner, and looked quite pitiable in the end... :-(  RIP, love!

After several weeks of laziness *shame on me*, I at last had a big cleanup in my aquarium again yesterday. It still isn't perfect of course, but believe me it looks WAY better than before.

Finally found someone to take care of my fish while I'm away. *yay* They'll have to do with food only every 2 or 3 days instead of once or twice a day as usual, but it's better than nothing and I hope they'll still be alright.

Today the aquarium was decorated, set with plants and filled with water. The filter system was put into operation and needs running for a few days to "get settled" before the first fish can be included.

On Saturday we purchased the aquarium which I'll be getting for my birthday in two week. I'm very happy and excited about it as I have wanted one for more than a year now. I'm really looking forward to filling it with life soon. :-)
