Had to post the report in two parts, since I broke LJ! XD
Part 1 is:
HERE! After these ballads, it was time for another kouhai part! ABC-Z started it with their Zutto LOVE! I think it's their new single, and it's really sparkly and bubbly happy!
Up next was Kis-My-Ft2 again, performing their new single Wanna Beeee!!! Which I LOVE. They started singing it on the... center stage, I think it was? After peforming the first half of the song, all the lights in Tokyo Dome went off! So it was completely dark everywhere, and the only thing you could see were everyone's penlights and then they'd added some kind of glowing thing to each of the kisumai members roller skates! So everyone had their own color, and the only thing you could see were these glowing lines in different colors doing different formations across the stage. It looked really really pretty!
After a little while though, the music stopped and you could hear a voice going, "I wanna be free...!" And it wasn't any of the kisumai members voices... it was Takki's!!
And suddenly the lights were lit again, and you could see Takki sitting on the stage, right behind the kisumai members. They were all going "WTF?" at him when he again said, "I wanna be free~!" in a really breathy voice. I think it was supposed to be ero, but he overdid it so much that it sounded more like he was a warui otoko than someone speaking in an ero voice ha ha haaa. It was soooo funny and adorable. XD
Then Takki stood up, and it turns out... he too was wearing roller skates. He was confident he could join them in their roller skate dancing, because he'd seen a lot of Hikaru Genji on tv when he was young or something, lol! XDDD I loved it.
The music started again, and Takki really did skate. Damn it, but I think this man can do ANYTHING, and do it well. Crazy!
Kisumai and Takki all make their way on skates from the center stage, and Takki does really well! He's a bit wobbly, but he doesn't fall down a single time! (I think that he is more pretending to be about to fall a few times to give us all a fright...! XD) They go from the center stage and on to the back stage, and on the backstage they do that thing where they all go around in a circle for a few times, and Takki joins them! It was really cute to see Takki interacting with their kouhai's like that - that was actually what I thought more of the event would be about! Takitsuba and kouhai's doing things together!
When they finished, Sexy Zone came running out on the backstage! They were wearing little Santa Claus outfits, and sang their debut song. It was pretty cute, but I can't say I really get them. They sang another song as well, some kind of Christmas song. Followed them did random jr's, kansai jr's and NYC. The first day, Yamada and Chinen came out
After all this, they had a some kind of random introduction of everyone and some kind of strange dance off-thingy... which was reaaaally random, but Tsubasa came out without his blazer on the first day, and barely thrown on his shoulder the 2nd day so it was pretty hot.
Takki and his group also did a tiny ero dance with hip rolls and lay down on their back on the floor to do some air humping. So it was all good. XD
After the dance medley thingy, I think NYC boys came out and I have this image of Yamada and Chinen wearing pink kimono's but I might be making this up, because no one else seems to be remembering it. XD If I was completely off, they looked really pretty in my mind at least ha ha ha!
Then it was time for Hey Say JUMP to perform their single Super Delicate. Which I looooved!! Such a great, catchy song! And Yamada is really pretty. ;_; There was a big bl moment somewhere in this performance also, where Yamada and Yuto held each other while performing this song. I got excited.
Yamada also ended the song both days with congratulating Takitsuba on their 10th anniversary! (Actually, all the groups did this, it was just that they did it at more random moments, I think. Yamada/HSJ's were really clear since they ended the song by saying it!)
After the HSJ part, Takitsuba was finally back for real!! And they had changed to new outfits! Tsubasa wore a bright yellow suit, together with a purple shirt and white hat. It was a pretty ugly suit, but he still looked good in it, lol. Takki was wearing a bright PINK suit (and I am obviously color blind, because for both days I really thought it was red! Until everyone else was talking about his bright pink suit and I was all, "Well, thar makes more sense... since it's Takki, after all".)
Koakuma Juliet time! I have to admit that when we first got to hear a snippet for this song, in the Cosme commercial I wasn't too fond of it. It was okay, but I didn't really care either way, apart from the fact that they looked very good in the commecial. But now I LOVE the song!! From when we started to get to hear the complete song from when they started performing it during the promo rush, I've really come to love it. It's an extremely catchy song, and I have a thing for especially Takki's voice when he sings some of his parts. And the daaaannnnceeeeeeeeeeee ♥♥♥ As everyone knows, Yara did the choreography for it and he did so good. It's slinky and ero enough for Tsubasa to get to dance his way and work his devil hips to the fullest, and it's still does Takki's dancing justice. Which I think is the proof that Yara really is awesome at what he does - because he made them both look so good!
And Yara was theeere! When he got out, I think they did high five's or took each others hands, or something, and it was really cute how these three who's known each other from the very start could do something like this for their 10th anniversary! Also FourYou joined them for this song. ♥
And oh my, Tsubasa's hip action in this song was mad. He never stopped moving them, I really couldn't tear my eyes away from his crotch area, ha ha haa. Gaaahhh, I really really love this song now! ♥ If you've seen this performed at any of the promo appearences, you pretty much knows what the dance looks like... just add x1000 in hip action and crotch grabbing from Tsubasa, and you know what it was about.
After this song it was time for 24jikan be Happy! And I LOVE this song!! It's so odd though, because it sounds like two completely different songs. It starts out like a soft pop song that is really nice and melodic and very pleasant to listen to. And then as soon as Tsubasa started singing his part, it turns into this spanish tune and it's awesome. XDDD I honestly thought it was two different songs that they'd put together as a medley - since this was before the new album was released and we hadn't heard the songs before, I thought it might be both their solo songs put together! XD I thought it was super amusing when I got the albums and I understood that it really was one single song. XDDD
Here they stood talking for a while, and I think they were presenting FourYou who'd danced with them during the past few songs.
Then, suddenly, we could all hear a familiar voice coming out through the speakers... "Takkiii~♥"
Of course it was Yamapi! XDDDD The cheers were maaaad when he came on stage.
And this was such an adorable part of the event! Takki was so happy. XD Tsubasa didn't look nearly as smitten, but that's part of why it was so amusing. Takki just couldn't stop from smiling like a crazy person. Both his favorite men on stage with him at one - I'm surprised he survived the excitement.
The first day was pretty generic, Yamapi came onto the stage, running from somewhere backstage and onto the back stage where Takitsuba had been performing the last song. They chatted for a while, I think Yamapi said something about how it was Takki who'd made him want to join Johnny's.
The 2nd day was reaaaaally great though! I must admit that I'm not too fond of Yamapi - I mean, I don't have anything against him or so, I just don't get the appeal since I think he's pretty boring. XD But, the second day at dome made me think that he really is a very sweet, thoughtful and kind person. On the 2nd day my seats were pretty high up, so could even see Yamapi before he had his cue to go onto the stage, and I could see that he was carrying something, and I turned to my friend and was all, "OH MY GOD, I THINK HE'S BRINGING THEM FLOWERS!"
And he did! ♥♥♥ Like the perfect son bringing his dad and... evil stepdad flowers on their 10th wedding anniversary! ;___;~♥ I loved it. And he was so proper, saying congratulations and everything and it was all very very sweet!! As he went onto the stage, he handed Takki the HUGE bouquet of flowers! Tsubasa looked a bit put out for a second, until a staff handed Yamapi another equally huge bouquet which he then handed to Tsubasa, also congratulating him! ^^ Tsubasa looked very touched, suddenly! ^^
Yamapi also bought them both present. And he seemed both nervous and amused by it, saying things like, "Please don't expect too much, it's nothing and a pretty bad present, I couldn't come up with anything..." and so on and so on. And then he brought out the presents from a big white paper bag and I couldn't stop laughing! It was one neck cushion for them each. in their colors. A pink one for Takki and a blue one for Tsubasa. They were great! Then he'd also bought silly halloween hats for them, and the greatest thing about that is that a couple of years ago, I've tried on the exact same hat as the one Takki got in a store in Tokyo! (LOFT for those who wants one! XD) I so regret not buying it now. XD
Takki's hat was in the shape of a pumpkin, while Tsubasa's.... was a cat. I died. Yamapiiii, don't you know Tsubasa haaaates cats?? He probably knows that very well... you're playing with the devil there, Yamashita-san! :O
Oh My God, his happy little face! XDDD
A not nearly as happy face. XDDD
They wore their presents for a few moments (looking adooorable) and then they performed a song together! They chose Pride The End which is suuuch a random song for the three of them to perform together. I can't recall them ever performing it together - and why would they have? I was expecting him and Takki to do circle together, or maybe the tree of them doing an old song from their junior days together or... idk, but this song was pretty random. XD I love the song though, and Yamapi did okay keeping up with the dance. Tsubasa was still pretty intense with the hip action though, so I again had a hard time keeping track of what anyone else was doing. XD
Next up was Yamanotesen Sotomawari, which really is one of their best concert songs!! It's great to dance along to!! And it's so funny and you can totally tell they're having SUCH a blast, performing it! XD They went around the walkways for this song and... I think Fouryou was there for this song as well, maybe? Because I think they did that cool move at the end somewhere where they stand in a row and, er, make that snake move thingy? I can't explain it, booh! -____-
Anyway, GREAT song for concerts - it's just SO much fun!! I love love it!!
After Yamanotesen it's PaPiPuPeYappo Alright! The dance for this song was the cutest ever! ;____;~♥ They did this adorable dance with their arms, like if they were chicken wings. XD the song is super adorable as well! I have this picture in my head of Tsubasa in his yellow suit doing this chicken dance. Cutest everrrrrr. As soon as I hear that song now I keep doing that move with my arms. XD
Then came one of my favourite parts of the entire concerts. Since this was before the album release, we hadn't heard the new songs from the album, so this was the first time I heard their new song, Kizuna mo Kiseki mo Koko ni aru. And even though my japanese kikitori is horrible, I was absolutely floored, because the lyrics were just... wow. It's a love song, but not a traditional one. But it's about the bond, a bond stronger than anything, between two people. And the song is about them, guys. It really is about the two of them.
Even though I couldn't understand everything they were singing, I was standing there with my penlight, unable to move from the first few words of the lyrics. It was just... unbeliavable. The lyrics is about how it's destiny that they're together. How it's a miracle that they have each other. They sing about how they could get through hardships just because they've had each other, how they've cried together and how they've experienced everything together. How they're always there for each other and how they always will be. How they will always be running side by side and how you could call their friendship love. ♥ I TEAR UP JUST TYPING THIS, THIS IS THE MOST PERFECT SONG EVER!! ♥
Oh my god, you guuuyssssss it's such a perfect song. And to doubters out there - when the song started, they turned to face each other and sang the song to each other. I think Tsubasa might have cried, because after a while he had to stand with his eyes closed. ;_;~♥♥♥ And while they were singing, they were showing a video monage of them on the big screens, pictures and videos of the two of them and their journey together. The montage ended with a picture of a younger (18 years old, or so I think) Takizawa having his arms around Tsubasa from behind. It was such a perfect performance, for such a beautiful and perfect song! ♥
(If you want to read the entire translation,
loveandcoffee is a wonderful human and has translated the entire lyrics over:
Here! And I really think you should check it out, because the lyrics are so gorgeous.)
How are there even people out there who doesn't get how important these two are to each other, I don't get it?
Right away after Kizuna-song, the melody to Samurai started and they went from sappy-in-love ballad to rockers. It was pretty great to see them doing this rock song in those fugly colorful suits. XD Oh, and it was wonderful how, even though there were so many non-takitsuba fans in the audience, everyone screamed their heads off to scream out "SAMURAI~!" at those parts of the song. :3
Then it was time for Kamira Tamara! Annnnnd, I think they must've been high first on the sappy love song they sang to each other and then from oozing pheromones after their rock song, because this is where they kissed each others hands! :3333 They stood at the start of the runway at the main stage, and grabbed each others hands, and I think Tsubasa started it by kissing Takki's hand. Then Takki leaned down and kissed Tsubasa's, and I think Takki's kiss was a quite lingering one... *_* The audience around me cheered like MAAAAAD at that point lol! : DDD
This is where they then did the run run run! thing where they held hands while running down the whole runway together down to the back stage. ♥ So even though they didn't do the actual run run run song, they incorporated that "bibitokkoru" moment. ♥
I think this whole performance was pretty rabu rabu... I think they stood facing each other really close at some point and it was pretty hot. :3
Next up was Ikiteru Akashi. Here they went on carts I know, so I think they might've been on carts for the end of Kamira Tamara as well. I don't remember too much about this one, lol.
They went all the way to the main stage, where they presented all ther kouhai's as well - either by group or by name if you were an enough popular one XD. As they were presented they came out from backstage, everyone wearing white. They all spread out in a long row, spread over the whole main stage. Everyone looked really serious by this point.
And so Real DX started! I think it's great that Real DX won the fan voting, actually. It's such a special song for them and for us (even though it's not my favourite song of them) but it is such a great song with a great, cool dance and it is really done justice being performed at concerts. It looked really cool how they were all performing it together, takitsuba in the middle and with all their kouhai's around them. It looked super cool and powerful! It ended with a gazillion loud fireworks going off!
WTF, I don't have a single photo from Real DX... -____-
Takitsuba disappeared from the main stage as the last few notes of RealDX were playing and then Epilogue started. And there was the waterfalls from
luinlote even before they started singing. It's just... it's such a memorable, precious and special song. And I love it so much, and the lyrics are absolutely perfect perfect perfect. And this song holds so much memories. I still remember the first time I heard it live, during kuricon 2006 and how Tsubasa teared up and waahh, it was so perfect then and it's still perfect now.
They came out in big hot air balloons, Takki to the left and Tsubasa to the right I think. It was square white ballons, with their hatachi debut picture on one side and the 10th anniversary logo on the other side. It was really lovely. And wow, as soon as Tsubasa started singing his lines... it's insane how much Tsubasa's voice have changed through the years. You can totally tell from the 2012 version of Epilogue on the TEN CD as well. His voice is really gorgeous.
They met in the middle of the arena, and when they were in the middle, both ballons were raised even higher up, so people on the upper floor as well could get to see them a bit closer! ^^ During epilogue was also when there was a bunch of silver confetti raining down over the audience, I think! Sooooo pretty! ♥♥♥
Oh, and there were so many around me singing along to the lyrics too! ♥
Now time for Journey Journey! It's funny, because this sounds like such a happy go lucky song, but it really is suuuuch a sappy song, again one of those "We'll always be there for each other" type of songs. ♥ So even though it usually feels like Epilogue should really be the last song, or followed by another sappy ballad, this song made... sort of sense. :3 The lyrics to this song are really lovely. ♥
After this it was Ai wa Takaramono. Man, this furitsuke is soooo difficult. XD So many fans around me were just waving their penlight along randomly, and trying to pick up furitsuke moves here and there.
I really love Ai wa Takaramono, though. I don't know if it's because it's their comeback song or whatever, but I always get this... burst of joy in me whenever I hear the first few notes of the melody to it. ♥♥♥ I think they did this song on the main stage?
Then the concert/event ended. ;__; They held short goodbye speeches. They thanked us a lot. Said it's their 10th aniversary, and thanked us all for sticking with them for so long. Thanked us for still supporting them. Thank you again. Takki said he is happy and grateful that Tsubasa is his partner (aikata). Tsubasa was thankful for everyone's support, thankful for his kouhai's support, happy they can be Tackey & Tsubasa.
Then the melody to Epilogue started playing again as they headed out, waving to us.
Takitsuba call started right away. "Takki" clap clap "Tsubasa" clap clap "Takki" clap clap "Tsubasa". And they came out pretty quickly, after just a minute or two. They were both wearing the black con T-shirt. Takki was wearing jeans to it, while Tsubasa was wearing white shorts. During the first day he was wearing a white hat, and on the second day no hat, but pony tail.
They talked about something, I think they were "trying to decide" weather they should do a song or something, IDK, but Takki started asking Tsubasa questions and he'd answer them in English. So as soon as Takki said something to him, he'd say "Yes!" or "Yeah!" or "Yah!" and everyone would laugh a lot and Takki was once again somewhere between desperate exasperation and super amused. XD Like so many times before when he's with Tsubasa. XD Tsubasa looked super innocent and happy. ^^
And then they were both like, "Do you want us to go again? Should we do it again?" and we all went "Yeeeeyyyy~" and the melody to WonderlanDream started! Ahhhhh, I love love this song! It's sooooo pretty! ♥♥ I think they were singing in on the main stage, just the two of them?
And so, Yume Monogatari! And here all the kouhai's came out once again, to sing with them! Ahh, the dance they do to Yume Monogatari when it's used as an encore is so great. XD And EVERYONE knows this song, so the audience is really great at the furitsuke and it looks sooo pretty when Every Single Person in the arena is doing the dance in perfect sync! It looks so great! And of course they also did the funny thing where they all turn to face each other and shakes their bodies.
Her again they present the juniors (it felt like they presented them all like 800 times each night wtf.)
And then ABC-Z introduced Tackey & Tsubasa and we all screamed their names together! ♥
And that was the end for the first night. Everyone just stood up and left. ;___; It sucked. Or, rather, the lower level seemed to stay for at least a bit and clap, but the upper tires started emptying really fast, so it really was the end. So sad. :/
The second day was muuuuch better. Everyone stayed and started to clap right away after the first two encores!! ^^
I think they seemed pretty surprised the second day at how many there was who wanted them to come out a second time! It was lovely, because they seemed to get honestly touched by all of us staying. But they DID come out again and they came out HOLDING HANDS!!!! ♥♥♥
It was soooo lovely and everyone was cheering and clapping like MAD at them while they just stood there for a minute or so, looking up at everyone, still holding hands. Then they pretended to be a butai cast, spreading out their arms and bowing while holding hands. Seriously, they stood holding hands for ages. They just wouldn''t let go. ♥
Ohh, and Tsubasa was almost shirtless. XD He had appearently started undressing already, because he was wearing his T-shirt like a scarf around his neck. I think they were really surprised we clapped them out again.
They were like, "Oh, do you want us to sing again? Really really?"
And then the longest "mou ikkai" call ever started! XD We kept chanting and clapping for another encore for soooo long while they just stood there and didn't do anything ha ha! And we just kept chanting and chanting and clapping and clapping. It was crazy.
They say they want the kouhai's to come out, but no one does. XD Takki even heads to check right behind the doors to backstage, but no one is there. "Hello, kouhai-tachi? Where are you?" but no one came out so I think they even said that "Even if you're undressed, you should come out!"
But they had no choice and couldn't wait anymore, and Takki called out "CRAZY RAINBOW!" and the song started and they did the first half of it by themselves, I think? Tsubas is still wearing his tshirt as a scarf and Takki is still wearing too much clothes. And then the kouhai's all started to come running out, and I think they really weren't expecting to do another encore, because everyone was either already dressed completely in their regular clotes or half casual, half stage clothes. Fujigaya was wearing super sparkly pants and private tank top, and he had this adorable pony tail thingy on the top of his head. He looked so cute.
And now it was time for the real good bye. So sad. : ((((((
They both looked so happy though, I think they really were happy by the fans reactions the second day, and they really did feel everyone's support. As they exited, they grasped each others hands, they wouldn't let go at all. ♥ So so so killing me with my hand holding fetish ahhh. ♥♥♥ And then the cute tug-at-war started, with Tsubasa trying to pull Takki though his door, and Takki trying to pull Tsubasa his way. Of course Tsubasa won, and Takki followed him happily, like a puppy. :333 So so cute.
All in all these events were really great. But I have to admit that after the first day I was very disappointed. It wasn't at all what I'd expected - there were so many juniors, so many other onstage that it felt like takitsuba had hardly been up there at all. Now I know I was over reacting when I go through the setlist and everything, because there really wasn't that much junior songs at all - I think I was mostly shocked and ecpecting something different. I also think takitsuba were kind of... nervous? During the first day. Or, rather, the first half of the first day. because it was such a big audience and so many non takitsuba fans there that I think they didn't know exactly how to be themselves for a bit. But it worked out well in the end and the second half of the first day, and the whole second event was entirely different - it was pretty much the exact same setlist, and the jr's were on stage the exact same amount, but it was just a big difference somehow. I think there was more takitsuba fans the second day, and I think they felt much more at ease. You can also really tell on several of the paparazzi pics I bought that Tsubasa was very teary at the end of the second event. ♥ I think he must've been really touched at the support they were getting. ♥
And that's the end of my report! This one also got long. ^^;;;; But I hope it is of enjoyment to at least someone! It'll help me remember things better at least, which is a relief. ^^
Thank you, Takitsuba, for these events, and Happy 10th anniversary again! Aishiteru ze!
