And here comes my super late report of Tackey & Tsubasa's 10th Anniversary Special Event at Yokohama Arena, April 1st 2012!
First of all, I want to start by saying Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to my dear, dear kouhai, R-chan who was a complete doll and helped me (despite me waking her up in the middle of the night appearently! m(___)m ) to send in my two DVD-codes so I could take part in the lottery to win tickets for the event.
Being so sure I wouldn't win, I sent them in even so, despite having absolutely no money at all since I had just renovated most of the rooms in my apartment...
A few days passed, and... I suddenly got a message from R-chan telling me I'd won two tickets with one of my codes. MY POOR POOR HEART at that moment. I was just having coffee with
therese-chan and suddenly I flipped. XD I just kept spazzing to death and she tried to calm me down and I was all, "I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY! I WON'T GET THE TIME OFF! I'M GOING TO DIE! I GOT TICKETS! I HAVE TO GO! BUT I CAN'T GO!" A few hours later I'd somehow managed to book my flight ticket Stockholm-Tokyo without even asking my boss for the time off wohoo! \^_^/;;; What I do for love...
But in the end, by pure luck, some extreme stubbornness, the loveliness of all the world and the kindness of my boss... I could, in fact, go! So I was so extremely lucky that I got to attend Takitsuba's 10周年記念!スペシャルイベント!!
By some spontaneous planning and random hysterics, my new friend Mi-san got my second ticket, and I suddenly had company for my short short trip! We left Stockholm on March 28th and went back to Stockholm again on April 2nd. So all in all, we were in Tokyo for 3½ days, lol.
Sooo, anyway, onto the report!
The show was said to start as 11 a.m, Sunday April 1st, and they'd open the doors to YokoAri at 10 a.m. I have a few friends who'd attended the event in Osaka the previous day and my friend J-san who was there told me to make sure to arrive early since there'd be a radio-recordning right at the beginning! I'd also talked to
curiosa_cabinet for a while after the Osaka-event had ended, to spazz at her at what had happened during the event! I also got small updates from
pinkpapyrus throughout the days! ^^
Anyway, said and done, me and Mi-san arrived early enough for me to have a sakura-latte at Doutour before we headed towards the venue! We stood queing outside for maybe 20 minutes before they opened the doors, and I think it was pretty much at the exact the same time as they checked my ticket that we heard them! Through the speakers in the whole arena we could hear their voices. A *gasp* went though the small crowd that had already gotten inside, as we heard them.
It was Tackey & Tsubasa, and obviously the radio-recording had just started! At first it was mostly just them saying a bunch of "Hello, hello, Good morning! Hello everyone, Good morning!" And, "This is Takizawa Hideaki and Imai Tsubasa, we're Tackey & Tsubasa!" and more good mornings. As we were led inside the arena, we were all ushered in one direction instead of how you usually go in the direction of your seat when you're inside. We were all led to the left, towards the corridor there, and I was already going, "They're sitting right there, they're greeting us before the event, they're really right there behind that wall!".
Inside the arena corridor there was the usual lines of pretty flowers from different companies that work with takitsuba - I know I saw one from Disney on Ice in particular that was super cute and beautiful.
I remember barely registering the whole thing, though, since I kept panicking and going, "THEY'RE BEHIND THERE, THEY'RE RIGHT THERE!" to my friend, as I grabbed her hand and we were turning a corner and I think we were almost running in our stressed out state but suddenly we were right by them!
They were on a raised platform, and they were sitting at a table together with a radio-announcer (didn't catch his name, sorry!) and they were still greeting everyone, waving to them and being the two most beautiful human beings to have ever graced this earth. As they are. They both smiled really widely and waved, waved, waved to everyone. Me and my friend was rushed forward and everything really felt so roshed that I hardly even know what happened other than that we were soon inside the actual arena, about to look for our seats. On tve TV-screens inside the arena, they were showing Takki and Tsubasa recording the radio program throughout the whole time, so we could always see what they did. ^^
They both looked incredibly gorgeous as we walked right past the platform where they were sitting. Takki had quite short dark brown hair and as always he looked completely perfect! He was wearing a bright pink T-shirt with the 10th anniversary logo on it. Tsubasa had also had his hair cut quite recently so it was very short - very similar to the hair he had for Best!Tour pamphlet - and he looked tanned and as always he had skin like a porcelain doll. I can't believe how beautiful his skin is! ;_; HE HAD ALSO SHAVED!!!!!!!!!!!<- Important
Tsubasa was wearing a T-shirt that was deep blue, of course that also had the anniversary logo! I loved it that they were really wearing their colors! ♥♥
I also saw that the water bottles they used to take little sips of water throughout the whole thing also had the anniversary logo on it. Custom made takitsuba-anniversary bottles! (I WANT ONE!!!)
A few minutes passed and it was still mostly just good mornings and greetings into the microphones, before they said that we're all welcome there, and how this is a special takitsuba-radio recording!
As we finally settled down in our seats we could start watching the big screens. It was so wonderful of them to film it all too, so we could see what was going on too, and not just hear them talking. Though, one of the camera angles was from right in front of them, but slightly from below, and it was so unflattering for both of them, lol! XDDD
Our seats were actually pretty good! As always I was a bit stressed out at not having center-seats, but this was still good. Arena F-block (on the right side of the main stage) and on row 14, which was actually only the 8th row from the runway when I counted the rows, so we were actually pretty close to it! So I was pleasantly surprised, actually!
Several things was going on during the radio-recording - they showed some PV's (Samurai, Kamen, Ai wa Takaramono and Dame. And perhaps one more, I'm not sure!) and talked some random talk, looked incredibly hot and here is also where the Question & Answer section came in! With our DVD-codes, we were asked to send in a question to takitsuba. So most of what they did during the recording was answering their fans questions! (My question was something along the lines of, "Now that you're celebrating your 10th anniversary together, what is your next goal?" As far as I know, they didn't answer this question! XD)
Anyway, there was soooo many funny questions from all the fans, and I loved hearing all the answers! Though, since I'm a complete spazz, I forgot so many of the Q&A's, and of course there was many things I didn't understand at all. But here are some things I did understand parts of at least:
Question: Something or other about what they wear for sleep?
Answer: Tsubasa said he wears T-shirts and sweatpants. I also think he said that when he's doing butai's or such where he has to use his voice a lot, he also wears face-masks. To protect his voice/throat, I presume? But he also complained that the mask comes off when he sleeps sometimes, or that it will fall down to just cover his chin. XD
Anyway, I thought the question was what they sleep in at first, but Takki's answer got me a bit confused, because he looked all suspicious and then said that he also wears T-shirt and sweats. But isn't it well known that Takki always sleeps naked!? Or did he change his ways recently? lol.
Question: Something Something do they drink champagne?
They were both all "No, no, we're not that luxurious!" and Tsubasa protested a lot saying that champagne doesn't go well with his image, right? (He probably think he's all manly and just drinks litres and litres of beer... the lightweight! ♥)
At times, they'd stop answering questions and instead ask the audience in the arena if we were all doing good and are we genki? And we would all wave to the screen and yell to them that we are! Soon, Tsubasa got a brilliant idea that we should all stand up and then jump up, everyone of us at once, and as we did so takitsuba was all "Wow, that is sugoi!" and it was actually so much fun and cute to see all the fans jumping! XD I think they did the jump-call to the audience three times during the radio recordning!
Also, during the recording, sometimes they filmed takitsuba from the side and you could often see that Tsubasa rolled up the sleeves on his T-shirt, making it a tanktop. He is soooo tanned... and he has such pretty arms *____* And he is also really really thin right now. His features were really sharp and I often noticed how slim he looked in the suit he wore later on!
Takki, as always, looked completely gorgeous of course. He looked really really happy the whole day too, I think he might've had the most fun out of everyone!!
More questions now!
There was something about something about what they like doing and Tsubasa answered cooking-something-something. (crappy kikitori and crappy memory is bad combo!)
They were also asked if they pranked someone/got pranked, since it was april's fool, but both of them said they hadn't! Because they are so well behaved!
And here I absolutely have to mention how giggly they were thoughout the whole event, and most definitely already here during the radio-recording! I was already feeling like this would be a super rabu rabu event since this bakappuru was already acting super goofy and silly here. And Tsubasa had most definitely brought out the devil on his shoulder for the occassion because he kept teasing Takki again and again!
One of the following questions were who out of takitsuba had bigger hands... so of course they had to measure and compare! They both put up one of their hands and put them palm-to-palm to compare sizes (...heh.... ^^;;;) Takki was doing it so seriously, honestly looking from all angles and properly comparing and being all, "Aww... Tsubasa's hand seems a bit bigger, he has longer fingers." And Tsubasa's fingers definitely were much longer - and Takki's fingers are really knobbly which is actually really really adorable. ♥__♥ Then, as they were still holding their hands palm to palm, you could see the devil horns growing on Tsubasa, and OF COURSE he'd just suddenly clasp their hands together, twining their fingers together up in the air. Takki looked flustered but they kept holding like that for a moment or two before Tsubasa let go looking SUPER PLEASED WITH HIS LIFE IN GENERAL. That pleased smile, hah! ♥ Takki just smiled shyly. :3
And, here, I was completely unfocused for a moment or two because of something, but then I instantly focused again as I realized they were talking about the cover of Ai wa Takaramono - The one where they stand facing each other reaaaalllly closely, you know? Anyway, since I missed the beginning I'm not sure what the question was but it somehow ended with the two of them having to face each other and staring each other down while not laughing. So, they turned towards each other in their chairs - the audience going Hyuuu~ Hyuuu~ at them of course! - and face each other. And stared each other deeply in the eyes. And the radio announcer kept saying something like, "Don't laugh, don't laugh!". The distance between them was maybe about an arms length, and they kept from laughing but their mouths definitely kept twitching! And this is when Tsubasa suddenly put up his hand, pointing with his index finger. He put it out right in front of his own face I think, and then slowly slowly started moving it towards Takki, closer and closer to his face. And this might've been one of the cuuuutest things I have ever seen, because Takki's eyes started following Tsubasa's finger that slowly came closer and closer to Takki's nose, until it was riiiight at the tip of Takki's nose and Takki was squinting like mad, still staring at the finger! And he looked so extremely funny and utterly adorable! It was extra funny since I've never seen either of them do that before so now I shall carry the image in my mind of Takki squinting forever! ♥♥♥ No words can ever describe how insanely cute this was, for real face!
Oh, right, I don't know who lost the game, since I don't think either of them laughed in the end... or, rather, both of them kept randomly giggling, so maybe the both of them lost, rather?
Other questions included something about that they celebrate each others birthdays, and Tsubasa most definitely looked happy and pleased. :3
And speaking of birthdays, we still don't know what they did for Takki's real birthday, on the 29th. It bugs me and I want to knoooooooowwwwww! \^3^/
The radio recording went on for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, so it ended around 11.20 or so, after the last segment of the recording had ended. And the last part was sort of fail, but cute nonetheless! Somewhere in the arena, they'd put out a "takitsuba phonebooth" where some random fans could make a 1-minute call to takitsuba and ask them for advice on stuff. But I don't think they'd counted on how short one minute was, and also how bad the sound in the phonebooth must've been because I hardly think anyone ever got past introducing themselves, lol. I also think takitsuba had a hard time hearing what the fans on the other end of the line was saying.
Takitsuba kept picking up as the phone rang and then the fan on the other end would introduce herself (it was all girls calling them, even though there actually was quite many boys in the audience) and the first caller hardly even had the time to say her name and where she was from and then there was a sound like a "Beep!" indicating that the call was over! takitsuba were both all "???" at first and as they realized that the one minute was already over, they both started laughing so much, and Takki's reaction was super funny, he kept saying again and again that "It was so fast! One minute is really short!!" again and again.
I actually think it was only one single person who managed to finally ask takitsuba for advice, and it was one girl who had some concern about dancing - I guess whe wanted to know how to get better - and Tsubasa of course took charge of this one and sat up straighter in his chair. :3 He asked her what kind of dance it was and it was Jazz dance, I think. He told her that working hard, and train a lot and most importantly have fun and enjoy yourself! ^^ I think he was happy to get to give out advice about dance, actually!
After the phone calls, it was time to end the radio recording and just a few minuted after that, the takitsuba call started! And, I don't know what it is with takitsuba fans, but we're all so unsynced ALL the time for takitsuba call! The "Takki clap clap "Tsubasa clap clap" always start out really good but then somewhere along the way it gets really all over the place. XD It was the same time during OUR FUTURE con last year! And I think takitsuba fans should be good at this, since everyone is such pro's at doing all the furitsuke! (Everyone but me because I suck, lol!) ^_~
Only a few minutes passed before Takitsuba appeared on stage! Covering the main stage was a huge red and white cloth-thingy and they seemed to have some troubles as it wouldn't fall down properly on one side at first. But the problems only lasted for a second or so and as it fell down it appeared a red and white setting on the stage, and Takki and Tsubasa standing on the top of the stage, wearing the white suits they were wearing for the last few songs of the OUR FUTURE concert. They looked super handsome. ♥
The first song to start of the mini-concert part of this event was Ai wa Takaramono. They sang this one on the main stage and god, I really really love this song now! I liked it okay when it was released, but it keeps growing on me every time I hear it live! It's such a fun song!
2nd song was Jouney Journey, which brought back precious memories of the OUR FUTURE con. ♥ Of course we all got to sing along to the "La la la" part this time too. ♥ Journey Journey was also performed on the main stage.
The 3d song was Hey Now!, and I've really started to love this song so much! It's such a FUN song and it's so high tension and it was even better that Takitsuba seemed to get super excited when they performed it. They started at the main stage, and as they were about to start singing they were heading for the middle runway towards the center stage! And, here... Tsubasa put out his hand for Takki to take and this was sooo lovely because they didn't really do anything silly or anything but they just jogged down the runway hand in hand, while singing and it looked so precious. ♥____♥ They really just jogged calmly down the runway and down to the center stage and all the while holding hands. So so precious. :3
The Hey Now song is really fun to sing along to and dance along to and pump your fist and penlight up in the air, and it really seemed like takitsuba got really high tension during this song too!
For me, it was also one of my favorite songs during this event, especially since they were so ラブラブ (rabu rabu) during this song! They'd start by standing with their faces really closely together (a little bit like how they used to do during Kakko Tsukanai Tonight) and put their faces closer and closer together. Everyone was hyuu~ing them like mad! At one point they also held hands while singing to each other!! ♥ Then they'd stand so that Tsubasa was behind Takki and Takki would put his hand up and I don't know if he was pretending to stroke Tsubasa's face or pat his cheek or if he really did it - from my angle it really looked like he did! Takki would look all starry eyed as he cocked his head to the side and looked up at Tsubasa! ^^ It was so much fun to see Takki fawn over Tsubasa so much - there was one part where Tsubasa did something or other and Takki actually pretended to almost faint and stumble/fall back a bit. Super cute! ♥
And sometime soon again, Tsubasa stood right behind Takki, and takki leaned into Tsubasa's chest and takki put his arm around takki form behind, over his shoulder and down over his chest. It looked totally possessive, and MY HEART EXPLODED OF JOY AND FROM HOW HOT IT WAS! ♥♥♥ This baka-couple omg. *____*
I think that moment right there, if I hadn't already had gotten my money's worth, that right there made it all worth it! XD
After Hey Now it was time for Yamanotesen Sotomawari! Just like at the OUR FUTURE concerts, this one was soooo much fun! The song is super adorable, and the dancing! IT IS SO MUCH FUN (even though I still don't know the dance properly wtffff)! And I still can't comprehend how adorable these two 30 year olds are! Love love love ♥♥♥! I love seeing them do the furitsuke to this song because they are obviously having so much fun and are super excited doing it! :3
After Yamanotesen, it was time for Takitsuba Call which felt sort of strange to me since I'm so used to takitsuba call being combined with Aishiteruze T&T, but still. XD
But the call this time was so much fun and went on for quite a while! XD Tsubasa started on our side and we all screamed sooo loudly at him! Takki's side did good too right after that! And it was hilarious because at random times, male fans would scream out their names and Takki and Tsubasa would be all happy about it and look into the audience with surprised/pleased looks on their faces.
Then we just continued to scream their names for a while and Takki got super excited after a while and pointed two fingers to his side of the audience to indicate the fans to scream his name two times in a row and he was all badass about it, and then... Tsubasa of course indicated that we should scream his name THREE times and we did and Takki got all angry and did his usual thing where he took off his jacket to instantly just put it back on. Mad cheers! Then the Takki side also screamed his name three times and all was well.
Then of course there was a 4-times-in-a-row Tsubasa call BECAUSE HE ALWAYS WINS, somehow. After that they started to look for single persons in the audience - of course they were looking for boys. Takki found a male fan to scream his name and then right after that Tsubasa had one of the security staff men screaming his name, and I was so impressed because he screamed it SO LOUDLY! Tsubasa got sooooo happy that he actually jumped down from the stage and onto the floor and gave the staff-member a tight hug! Takki came walking towards them and started flailing while he pretended to be angry about it while he was pointing at Tsubasa like, "YOU! Stop that, get back here now!!" while Tsubasa was laughing a lot. Takki continued looking for someone to call his name and found this adorable little boy (Maybe 10 years old or so?) who screamed Takki's name and it was perhaps the cutest thing ever, and the whole audience just went "aaawwwww!!!! *___*"
Then I think it was Takki who first found a Tsubasa uchiwa and started petting it and yelled "TSUBASAAA!"
When it was Tsubasa's turn, I think he must've already looked up the uchiwa he wanted to use because it was one with a very chibi!Takizaaa on it and Tsubasa just ran from the stage and suddenly the fans screaming got veeery loudly because he was suddenly standing right amongst the fans in the arena section's first row and was pretending to be a Takki fan waving the uchiwa around and being super cute while jumping up and down and waving his uchiwa around! Tsubasa failed with his "TAKKI!!" scream though because he accidentally screamed right into his microphone so the call got super loud!
After that it was back to the center stage and the both of them started walking from center stage towards the main stage and they walked so that Takki walked first with Tsubasa a few steps behind. Takki would wave his hands to the side that was supposed to scream his name and then we were all supposed to scream both of their names as they each walked... and this was so hilarious because suddenly Tsubasa started doing these super strange but super funny movements and poses as he was walking! While Takki would walk one step and wave his hands for us to scream, and then coming to a pause, Tsubasa would take one step with his hands up in the air, and every time he'd come to stand still, he'd do this strange pose, still with his hands up in the air and now also bending his knees quite a lot and sway his back while putting his cute little bum out! When Takki saw what he was doing he started laughing and tried to copy the pose or something but in the end he completely failed because he just couldn't stop laughing! When he got back to the main stage and Tsubasa was still doing his strange poses, Takki was all, "What the hell were you doing, that is so strange!!" or something and it was so cute how he just stood there laughing and laughing at Tsubasa who just kept smiling away looking happy that he made Takki laugh.
Cue, MC-part!
They talked about how they'd been in Osaka the previous day, random things, 10th anniversary/debut and some mentions of old things they used to do - how thir first concert appearence was at Yokohama Arena, and how they'd been in Kaiki Club together. I don't remember a lot of what they said but they at least talked about how happy they were to be where they are and I also think they asked the audience somewhere how many of us that had been their fans since before their debut! A lot of fans raised their hands!! ♥♥♥
Then they started talking about nostalgic times and songs and asked us if we wanted to hear some of them and we were supposed to say "TIME SLIP!" if we wanted a time slip to hear some of the old songs they used to perform! AND THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!!
They started with PGF which I absolutely adooored!! They did the proper dance and everything and it's sooo nostalgic to hear these songs again I was so excited and also wanted to cry a little because it was so wonderful! It was honestly awesome how they did all the dances perfectly and ohh, I loved it!! It's so great to see these really Johnny's jr-ppoi dances again, just because of the cuteness factor!
Then of course they also did Kinki's Garasu no Shounen which is really one of my favorite Johnny's songs ever! Then after that another one of my absolute favorites from the Golden Junior-era, Koi was Aserazu! I absolutely loved the nostalgic corner and loved to see them dance to these old songs again! ^^
After these genki songs, they started to sing the song everyone's been wanting to hear since they mentioned natsukashii-corner! It was time for Koi Yo. It is still such a beautiful song after all these years. They sang it on top of a raised stage and they were both really into it and Tsubasa most definitely looked very emotional singing it! ;_; It's in songs like Koi Yo that I really think we can hear how well their voices blend together. The nostalgic corner was over too soon, I thought. I'd have loved to hear more of these old songs. Ahhh, what wouldn't I get to hear them perform GET!! It'd be all sorts of amazing! XDD
They talked about singing their old songs for a while, and then, of course also started talking about how it had just been Takki's 30th birthday a few days before! ^^ Tsubasa started by saying that they had already celebrated the day before, at the Osaka event. But of course they'd celebrate today too! Takki looked honestly surprised, being all, "No, no that's unncessesary, we already celebrated I already got my present!" and thing like that. So modest, that Takizaaa! It's so amusing to see how he honestly seems so uncomfortable to stand in that kind of spotlight, to have everyone celebrate him like that. He seems honestly stressed about it, like he can't understand why anyone would do that to him and how should he react to it? ♥
Anyway, Tsubasa said he'd made a VTR for Takki's birthday, and it was extremely amusing! It was a VTR as if it was a news show where they showed different kind of celebrations from all over the world - I don't remember from where it was, but I think it was Time's Square and some from Spain at least and all the videos were edited, so the original voices were edited out and instead they'd done voiceovers with different Japanese voices, and they were all saying things to congratulate Takki now that he turned 30 years old! So it'd look like the celebrations in Times Square for example would were to celebrate Takki's birthday! It was hysterical!! though I presumed as we watched it that Takki must've already seen it before because his reaction wasn't that big! And yeah, Tsubasa had showed the VTR the day before in Osaka too. (And maybe at the real bday party too? It bugs me to NO END that we still don't know what they did for the actual birthday!!! Though, heh, I think I might have ideas of what they might've been up too... especially taking into accound the MC from OUR FUTURE con!! HEH! *_*)
Anyway, when the VTR was over, Tsubasa started saying that of course he has one more present! And, ahh, he looked so proud about it, while Takki again seemed kind of flustered to be recieving more gifts. Anyway, Tsubasa went backstage to get the present, and came out with a little trolley with something on it. The whole thing was covered with a pink fabric (That also was covered in sequins! of course...) Takki went forward and pulled the cloth from the trolley and revealed his present which was a gooooorgeous figure of Takki in his onnagata-outfit from Takizawa Kabuki! And this thing was oh-so-very precious!! It was absolutely wonderful, because he got so extremely happy about recieveing it! I think he must've handed the fabric that covered the figure to Tsubasa because I somehow remember that he was holding it for Takki for at least a while!? And his first reaction as he saw the figure was just a roar of "WOOOAAHHH!", because he got so excited!
Tsubasa explained that yesterday, Takki's present was a Takizawa Kakumei action figure that was made after the scene in Kakumei where he fights in water. (The one where he wears white tight pants and a red vest with nothing underneath and where he looks extraordinarily yummy. ^^ So that figure was the Kakumei version. So today, it's time for Kabuki version! And Takki was so excited going "I see I see! This is amazing, it's really amazing!"
I also think that Tsubasa at some point pointed to the figure and said "Tono desu yo!" or something. XD
And, for real face you guys. This figure/doll was so extremely gorgeous! They filmed it and gave us a close up and it looked exquisite - so extremely well made! The face looked exactly like Takki's, the kimono was beautifully made and honestly, it was so gorgeous! Takki was absolutely amazed too, he kept repeating "Wow" and he kept saying that it was so amazing, and it was totally adorable, because he kept walking around the figure, and squatting down to see it properly from all angles and his eyes were so big and he really just kept repeating again and again how amazing his present was, and he was super impressed and kept saying how the figure's clothing were exactly the same, and this and that detail is exactly right... he was really soooooo happy!! ♥♥♥
And here I'm getting confused if it's just my pervy mind making things up, BUT I THINK Tsubasa somewhere along here started talking about how he still remembers his original plan for what Takki was going to get for his birthday, but it was still too early in the day to talk about that kind of stuff, or something along those lines at least. XD
Ohhh, another amazing thing with the figures! Tsubasa had even had special boxes ordered for the dolls! Regular boxes and for the Kabuki doll that he got at Yokohama Arena, the box was white with "TAKIZAWA KABUKI" written in red kanji-letters on the side. It was so pretty, and I'm still so amazed at how truly well made the doll was.
When the celebrations was over and the figurine was safely put away somewhere backstage, they were starting to get ready for the new corner! They said they'd do something different, together with the fans! they'd done so before in osaka the day before, so they'd definitely do it in Yokohama too! And soon Takki called out the radio-person from before, to have him start the game from before, to start the GAME CORNER. Takki turned around and called for him and after a second or two they realized they'd made a mistake and had tried to call him out too soon! At first they were supposed to sing another song, and while singing it they were going to throw out 4 balls each to the audience! QUEEN OF R started playing and juniors came out and handed Takki four pink balls and Tsubasa four blue ones. They were suppoed to throw the balls to people in the audience and the ones who caught them were supposed to come on stage with takitsuba and join in the game corner ha ha haaa! Safe to say that I had already decided to avoid anything thrown my way lol! (There was one ball in our section, thrown by Tsubasa I think. But it landed maybe four or five rows above and a bit to the side of where our seats were thank GOD!)
After Queen of R, it was time for HEY! Listen to the Music, where they went on cranes to be able to throw their balls even further and higher.
Here was where they were in fact meant to call out the radio announcer, to have him explain the rules of the game while takitsuba soon went backstage to change outfits to something that was a bit more practical for a relay race rather than a white suit. XD Anyway, radio-person came out and he started with bickering with Takki about calling him out to early before. XD
Now, game time! radio-person explained to us all how the game was planned. The arena was split into two teams - Takki team, and Tsubasa team. My side of the stage was the Tsubasa team! :3 So we were supposed to cheer for Tsubasa and help him to win the game. And he also told us that the winning team would all get a special made clearfile with their old Hatachi picture on! It's soooo pretty!!
The game would be a relay race. It'd start with Takki and Tsubasa racing each other from the center stage and to the backstage. From there they'd meet up with their four fans on either side (Tsubasa would run to the left, and Takki to the right) and here the second stop would be. Here they'd meet the first fan and tie one of their legs together and run a three legged race together with their fan. Next stop was at the next fan, where they'd have a balloon popping competition, which meant that they'd hug the fan hard enough with a balloon put between them and making it pop without using their hands. Third stop was another three legged race with another fan and then last stop for them on the runway leading to the main stage was to make another balloon pop.
Next stage was where we in the arena seats were supposed to help. When they'd popped their balloon, a gigantic flag would be pulled out - on Takki's side the flag would be pink with Takki's face on it, and on Tsubasa's side we had a blue flag with Tsubasa's face on it. When we'd all helped to pull the balloon from the mainstage and all the way to the backstage (Without wrinkling their faces - super important, obviously!) it was time for the fans who were in the center seats to help. Two huge balloon-ball-thingys (Two blue for Tsubasa's side and two pink for Takki) were released by the backstage and the fans were supposed to get them safely from that end and to the center stage, and the first team to get their two balls to the center stage was the winners.
And the whole game corner was So Much Fun! I loved it to pieces omg! As they were done explaining the rules in the beginning, takitsuba came back out again, followed by their team of four fans each. They had each picked out a young kid from the audience that they had the three-legged race with! They were now wearing black pants with soem sparkly details, and they were also now back to wearing their pretty anniversary T-shirts again! ♥ They looked super fresh.
Somewhere around here, Takitsuba of course wanted to demonstrate how parts of it should be done... namely the balloon-popping thing! It was a wonderful sight to see them put a balloon between them and then dive right in for the tightest of hugs! :333 They were squeezing each other tightly, with a pale pink balloon in between them! ^^ They squeezed each other and I loved how it seemed like Tsubasa was really sneaking his arms around Takki's body hohohooo! It was great, especially since it seemed like they had some trouble to get it to break, too, so they just hugged and hugged to squeeze the balloon until it finally, finally popped, lol! And, when the balloon finally popped, a bunch of smaller, pink balloons fell out. At first the two of them just rubbed their bellies saying it had hurt as the balloons popped, but soon Tsubasa bent down and picked up one of the small balloons and said something like "We gave birth to a Takki-baby!" or something like that and I diiiedddd. XDDD
Soon they were heading for the center stage where they'd begin racing each other - it was totally adorable when the both of them were starting to warm up! Tsubasa just kept practicing the starting pose that people do right before a race. Up, down, up, down, running a few steps, back to starting pose, up down, up, down. All the while Takki was ranodmly stretching or dowing boxing-moves and things like that. They looked adorable! Somewhere here they both also told their temas that we mustn't loose! "Takki team, make sure we don't loose!" "Tsubasa team, today we can't loose!" or something like that, with very stern voices! ^^
The first part of the race started soon, and Tsubasa didn't have a chance against Takki in their futari dake race. I think it must've been decided from the start that Takki was supposed to win because he fought really hard to do so, lol! XD
As for the rest of the race, I must admit that my focus were heavily on Tsubasa - since he was on our side and we were his team, after all! ^^ But I'll try to mention the things I still remember!
The first section was, as I already mentioned, a three legged race with a fan. And here is where you can really see how different the two T's are! After having finished every obstacle with their fans, the two of them would act completely different. Tsubasa would bend down and pick up either the ribbon they had used to tie their legs together, or the tiny balloons that fell out, hand them to the fan that had participated, then bow a little bow, shake their hand and thank them and then he'd run to the next fan. Takki, on the other hand just RUSHED to the next fan as soon as they'd finished - at oen point I even thought he'd forget to untie his leg from the fans', since he seemed to be in such a hurry! XDDD
They popped a balloon each, then they had another three legged race and as they reached the last fan for the last balloon popping, Tsubasa was quite a bit behind Takki. But here Takki got some serious troubles - he just COULDN'T get his balloon to pop!! they just squeezed and squeezed and nothinf happened and suddenly it was a tie again, as Tsubasa reached his last baloon-popping stop! So Takki just got really stressed out and suddenly he seriosuly JUMPED UP AND STRADDLED THE WOMAN! For real face, I think the whole Yokohama Arena turned completely silent for half a second in pure shock - to suddenly see Takizawa Hideaki randomly straddling someone's hips. Then everyone went "Ehhh?" and we all burst out laughing at him and his desperate means to win the game. Tsubasa's balloon popped right after Takki's, so by now they were pretty even. The next part of the game started, and that was when we in the arena section was supposed to get to work! The huge flags with their printed faces on it appeared on each side and we pulled and pulled, but Takki's side was by far quicker than us.
The huge balloon-thingys were released as the flags had reached their final destination by the backstage, and the balloons were now being moved y the fans from the backstage and towards the mainstage. This was so funny to watch too, because even though they seemed pretty light, they were still huge and most definitely difficult to move around! Especially in the middle where the center stage and the runways separare the back section from the front section. So here, Takki and Tsubasa had to help their respective teams to get the balloons over the runways. And, here, as someone in Takki's team must've smashed their balloon pretty harschly or something, or Takki must've made a mistake or a wrong turn or I don't even know, but as the balloon hit him, he got knocked over by it as it bounced back to where it had been! So the poor thing was suddenly just sprawled on the floor of the stage. But, no worries, he was soon up and directing the ballons again, and more successfully this time! XD
Of course Takki's side won the game. LOL. They were cheering sooo loudly and were so happy after winning, while everyone in Tsubasa Team was really quiet and depressed lol. Takitsuba was soon laughing at us, being all, "They're really quiet over there! I bet they're sad that they're not getting a clearfile!" and of course we all kept pouting and whining and saying that we want it, we want it! Tsubasa tried to coax Takki into giving it to us, "But can't they have it too?" Takki didn't seem that keen on the idea since his team had won he was like "Nope, I don't think so!" So Tsubasa said again, "BUT YOU REALLY WANT IT RIGHT?!" and again we chanted that we wanted it, so Takki soon turned to his side and asked them what they thought about it and I don't even remember their reaction! XD We kept chanting "We want it~~~ We waaant it~~~" again and again though and after a while Tsubasa said that maybe we would get the clearfiles if we appealed to Takki or something? So we all did scream "TAKKIIIII~!" with all our might and finally he agreed that all of us would get a clearfile, since all of us had also worked really hard lol!
(As if there was ever a question if we would get it or not, hah! ♥)
After all this there was another short MC part I think where they talked about... something? And then they performed a few songs again, starting with Yume Monogatari, followed by Venus complete with the usual sexy-swivelling-tsubasa-hips-of-death, after that we got Ho!Sama and Sora No Screen. It really was a hits-medley with the songs I've always felt that they enjoy the most when they perform concerts!! ^^ The last song was Journey Journey, which they performed two times during the event! Oh god, I really love Journey Journey so much. ;_;~♥ It's a really wonderful song!
And now the "real" even was pretty much over. They said thank you to everyone for coming and then told us that they wanted to thank us by sending us off! So they'd be standing by the exit and wave us all off as we passed by them. And I sort of wanted to die right there. But in a good way. or something. I was a bit divided in my INTENSE FEELINGS. Takitsuba walked out from the stage by doing another set of tug-at-war as they exited. They grabbed each others hand, and Takki was heading left and Tsubasa was heading right and for the first time in the history of ever as they were pulling for the other oen to follow.... Tsubasa gave in and followed Takki through his door! SO, FOR ONCE IN HIS LIFE TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI ACTUALLY WON! Tsubasa followed him, and the most hilarious and adorable thing happened - Takki made this really surprised face like he couldn't believe that he actually won for once! It was so totally cute. XD
As they walked out, there was safety persons or some kind of in-charge woman talking to us and explaining what would happen, and also telling us that some of the tickets had won some 24 Cosme products. So they were reading out which seats had won them. I was so miffed because I didn't win anything booh! I really really wanted them! -_- They haded out a lot of beauty-sets and make-up sets but not a single person in my block won... :(
Anyway, the send off started! They were filming the send off too, mostly waving takitsuba as they waved to everyone, but also sometimes they'd film the fans. they started with the special sections for kids and such, and those fans actually hgot to have a handshaking send off with takitsuba. It was adorable because there was a girl that was wearing the pink sparkly headband from Takki's 2nd (?) solo concerts and she was crying so much when she came up to Takki so he squatted down a little and looked like he was all "Aww~!" while he patted her on the head! ♥♥♥ It looked so so precious.
I was happy the tv screens inside the arena let us watch the send off because it took a looot of time! So I had something to do to distract me from panicking. I was all jittery and thinking about what i should do, should I say something to them and if I would, what would I say, and in which language should I say it? Panic~!
In the end I stopped worrying because they really rushed the que by them, ushering people past them super quickly. It was four rows of people, soo it was a bit like a highway with four lanes. but that made me feel a little better since I was for sure getting in the row furthest from them.
Our block was let out somewhere in the middle of all the other blocks I think. And as we got outside I slowly started moving to the right... and then I almost lol'ed (though I couldn't really laugh at all in my stressed out state!) as my friend said something like, "I wonder if my theory is correct?" And I was wondering what theory she had, if it was the same one as the one my body was slowly moving me towards despite my brain and heart screming no no no at me... and, well, it was. When watching the TV-screens, takitsuba were standing to the right... so if one were to hold to the right from the beginning, it'd seem like you'd be in the row closest to them. And, the closer we got to them, the more people seemed to have the same idea, because so many tried to sneak into the right lane, lol! XD
And, well. We had picked the right side. Because suddenly, we were ushered forwards really really quickly and suddenly I was standing right in front of Tsubasa. he was there, right there in front of me and... And I don't know if I'm really delusional or whatever it is, because I clearly remember how I stood in front of him and told him "Thank you!" (in English - I decided that'd give more impact, even though I look so different from everyone else that it was probably unnecessary, ha ha haaa! And since I've already told Tsubasa that I'm from Sweden once before during a concert, I decided that enough is enough ha ha haaa!) but then since everything went by soo fast, I still can't understand how I'd have the time to actually stand still in front of him for even half a second? IDK, I was in SUCH a mess, I don't even want to know what I looked like, ha ha haa! So embarrassing! Anyway, he looked at me with what I really felt like was recognition in his eyes and then he said arigatou, but as I said "Thank you!" in English he said "Thank you, bye bye!" too and I diiiiedddd and was in such a mess as I got to go past Takki that I hardly even know what I said to him!! I just remember that he made a really cute face, looking all surprised and happy, while doing an "Ohh!" sound and waving at me while I (think I) said "Thank You!" to him also.
Now, in retrospect, "Thank you!" seems like a really lame thing to say though! But... since it is what I've been wanting to say to them during all these years... I guess I'm also really happy that I finally finally got to say it. Even though I wish there'd have been more time... because even if it would've been pure torture, I'd have really really liked to properly say "Thank you for everything for all these years! You always make me so happy!" but then again, it'd probably have been really embarrassing to say that ha ha haa! Maybe my breathless "THANK YOU!" was better for me and my poor heart in the end. XD
After having waved goodbye to them in a rush, we were still ushered past and right before the exit, a whole bunch of juniors were standing to hand out presents to everyone. Really, it was the sweetest thing. We all got the clearfile, which was really beautiful, but I was in such complete hysterics by then - my hands were shaaaaking - that I almost missed getting the second present from the next junior!! I was trying to keep travk of my friend and somehow walked straight past the poor, cute little junior, so he had to come running after me!! Ha ha haaa, so embarrassing wth, self! It's not enough to be a crazy gaijin to begin with, I also have to stress out poor little juniors as well!! I got both clearfile and calendar though, so success! Along with a blue and a pink balloon and a bunch of streamers that fell from the ceiling! ^^
Clearfile with hatachi picture, ticket with takitsuba's photo, streamers, calendar and balloons from the event!
As we went out in the sun, me and Mi-san stood there spazzing for a while, me flailing about Tsubasa and she flailing about Takki. I was also waiting for my friend J-san who was somewhere inside still. But then, after a short while as everyone had finally come out, I culd suddenly hear a collective gasp from close to the entrance doors of Yokohama Arena. Staff were appearently there to say that Tackey & Tsubasa would come out to say a final thank you to all of us, so if the fans closest to the entrance could sit down so that everyone could see... and so they all did. I sort of crouched because I couldn't see anything when I tried to sit down, and it seemed like most people around me did the same.
Anyway, Takki and Tsubasa both soon came out, carrying megaphones! Thwy were still wearing the anniversary T-shirts and I had such a strange realization as they stood there that... oh my god, they're really real, this is the first time I see them outside in the sunlight and they don't melt! Sadly we were too far back that we couldn't hear anything they said at all - especially since Takki also had some problems with his megaphone... he tried to switch, but it didn't help at all. The first one wouldn't work at all, and the second one just made sounds as he tried to speak in it. Tsubas's worked fine though, but I still couldn't hear what he said. : (((
But I think they were all just thanking us for coming today and so on and so on... and it was so great of them.
I still can't believe that they really, honestly gave us the tickets to attend these events. Two events, one in Osaka and one in Yokohama. They really gave the tickets to SO many of us,. They rented the arenas, set up stages, gave us all presents in the form of clearfiles and calendars. They spend so many hours at each venue - rehearsals and then radio recording followed by event and then send off two days in a row, and also the last send off outside Yokohama. They're honestly the two most down to earth idols, the two most warm hearted and kind idols ever. This was so good to their fans and it really came through how much they really do appreaciate the fans and how thankful they are. Which is really really wonderful of them since we just really really really love them to no freakin' end and they could've done nothing and we would still be pleased. So this event really exceeded all my expectations and it just made me love them even more than before. If that was even possible. ♥
And here I want to thank Mi-chan, and give her a shout-out for coming with me on this short and crazy trip!! It was absolutely great! ^_^V I'm happy I got to give you the fangirl tour of Tokyo! XDDD
Also a sidenote, but I am a bit sad that I didn't have any shopphoto's or paparazzi-photo's to scan into this rapport since that is what I usually do... but I did what I could with my screencaps, photo's and a hug-scan that I stole from pinkpapyrus! ♥ I might edit once I finally get a hold of some papa-pics or something! ^^
Now, most importantly! To Tackey & Tsubasa, Takizawa Hideaki and Imai Tsubasa. Thank you for this event, thank you for letting your fans have fun and celebrate with you and thank you for being you and being wonderful. To another ten years to come! ♥♥♥
Oh my god I am so happy I can finally post this report, maybe I can finally get a good night's sleep now, lol!
