Progress! Sweet, Sweet Progress!
Oh my god eight pages! Eight pages drawn, only two more, and then a bit of inking... and then it's the finish line! Deciding not to go to FanExpo definitely went a long way in reducing my stress due to moving September 1st and having everything packed by then AND having a ten page comic drawn for an anthology by the 31st. :D;
Once I'm IN London, there'll still be lots of work left to do, but for now I'm doing good.
So sylverskye if you're reading this, I won't be able to meet up with you at FanExpo. D: I'm sorry. We should still get together once I'm settled in my London place.
In other news, I have a new laptop! Yay! And it's not even ten years old this time! :D; My old one died a sad, overheated death. And since I'll need a computer for when I'm back in KW for practicum... well, laptop it was. I was going to name it "L2" or "Solo"... but then I remembered that L2 is a junk heap, and that Solo died young and... it didn't seem like a very wise naming choice...
So my laptop is now named Olivier, after a kind, young priest who gets hit on by a man who's been magicked into a woman's body. :D And this way the Duo-link still stands. (Or I just have a thing for priests, I don't know...)
My brother says "Olivier" is a gay name for a laptop. If only he knew.
HA HA HA It feels good to have made lots of progress. Let's see if I can get another page drawn tomorrow, and then ink a bunch while watching Supernatural. : )
