Twins, twins, twins!!!!!!
Of course! in the midst of this horrible problem I am facing I have forgotten to note that Mr Carter Aaron and Madison McKinley Reed have entered the world! they are now 9 1/2 weeks old...and I couldn't been anymore in love with them. They are everything and more to me....and they are not even mine! :) They belong to our fabulous friends, Todd and Deanna. It has been amazing to watch these two grow and grow right in front of my eyes! I have the luxury of being there close to 3 times a week, so I am officially aunt Jess again! Oh! Hailey (2 yrs old this month) is now calling me Jess! apparently she has been saying it for a while, but I heard it as clear as day the other day when Todd asked "who is that?" She said "Jess" OMG! My heart melted! when I went over there..I walk in the door and see her standing at the top of the stairs. I say, "hi Boo!" and she says"hi Jess..Jess is home!" lol! I love her so much! when I leave she now says "love you too Jess," and kisses me. It's the most amazing thing ever!Of course, she calls Adam "socks." Have no clue why, but we all get a kick out of it.
To have a child who is not even blood related to you,and be in their life from day one, call you by your name and constantly want you around just warms your heart. I am the only friend, besides close fam, that Dee feels safe enough to leave alone with the kids. It's work, but the best ever! She starts back at Riley in Jan...then I start work again. I am practically doing it now, but minus the pay. I still do dishes, laundry, feed, hold and burp two babies, but I don't mind. It brings an amount of joy to me that i can't even begin to explain.
