Have you seen Skyline and if so, how would you compare it to Monsters? Better? Worse?

iTunes keeps telling me I can watch this before the release. Worth it?
I may be asking too much of you, but... knowing my reaction to most horror (i.e. terrible disappointment), will I like this?

I wouldn't call it horror, more of a sci-fi short story.
The tone is really unusual, you'd probably dig it.
