- Someone, possibly in Austin, ganged up my car. There's a hood tag written in Sharpie on the passenger side front door of the ChickWagon. My hope is that other local thugs will follow suit, transforming my beat-up ride into a graffed-up masterpiece, but I'm not entirely confident in that hope

paying off credit cards are a great good. I am all for that. And as for the expensive items, I have only recently been able to allow myself to spend more than 20 bones on a shirt, buy a suit, and not agonize over buying sneakers. The last one isn't true. But now that I have a job I can be conned into buying an expensive item-- my suit was $300 and change I think and my coat was $100+. I bought a $60 shirt before a wedding last year, and I am prepared to spend 60+ on a pair of slacks. Those are all items I wear to death (well, not the suit) so it'll be worth it. If I had to do it again I would spend $200 on the coat and get a better one that would last longer...

I can't imagine myself getting into fashion/ giving a flying fuck enough that I would start dropping regular coin on party shirts, hoodies, draws, and the like.

Addendum-- I have an $85 jacket with Mr Met on it and it's SO DAMNED BOMB ASS I would have bought it for 1.5 times the price. It's warm and durable and really good looking. You may have seen it in Dora's picture meme, she jacks it from me all the time.
