Tori - The Dent

Thinking about upcoming Tori stuff, I am totally still shocked that The Dent is no more. Sure, there will be other sites. But no other site will be the same. I spent many hours there. The Dent is a place that most Tori fans have gone to check out all the latest info on Tori. I am sure a lot of people do not even realize it is gone yet. But they will realize when Tori releases her next CD.
As I was driving the other day, I was listening to the Beekeeper.
And I was thinking about how many of the songs that I am not in love with on the CD. On the other hand, Patrick adores the Beekeeper work.
And it reminded me of when she released BfP. Oh the uproar it caused in the forums and with fans. I was instantly drawn into it. I had a lot of strife in my life at that time. It is still my absolute favorite. (depending on the day) But I remember fans dropping like flies. They hated it. And now if you look at the tori sites, BfP is considered amazing.
Well, I am still not attached to Beekeeper in the way I am to most of her music. And there are songs on that CD that totally move me. But it isn't the same. That doesn't make it bad. It just means in a few years I might adore it.
I have all of the shows from her past tour on CD or computer and I find myself not really listening to it much. Certain things I listen to, but that is only because of the few songs she played as bait for fans. (I don't mind bait at all, I actually encourage it. I will take what i can get)
That being said, I am hoping Tori has gotten jaded by motherhood and her marriage and the world in general and it will be reflected in her music on this upcoming cd. *crossing my fingers*
