Yay Torchwood Mag!

Got my copy of the newest Torchwood Magazine today!

OMG I THINK THEY'VE ACTUALLY CAST IANTO'S SISTER! The article mentions a Welsh actress playing a Rhiannon - and Ianto's sister is named Rhiannon according to the Torchwood Archives. Rhiannon will be played by Katy Wix (Not Going Out, Extras) and someone called Johnny (who I think may be Ianto's brother in law) will be played by Rhodri Lewis. Rhiannon and Johnny appear to be a couple anyway - and apparently a lot of crucial events will revolve around them. There are a bunch of other actors and characters announced - as well as Nick Briggs, who'll be appearing as a human being. Haha, the mag actually makes a deal of mentioning that he's playing a person.

Also, apparently we'll be finding out more about Ianto's scar in a later issue.

There's an article on the censoring that was done in Torchwood Series Two - for the pre-watershed version. There's a little rundown of the type of things that were censored from some episodes - including an extension of the dabbling conversation. Why the fuck would they wanna go and do something like that? WHHHY DOOO IT? What's wrong with kiddies knowing about a little dabbling? Haha.

There's also a cute Jack and Ianto poster. Just like the cover for the Jack and Jones issue. This will be going on my wall, oh yes! =D

Also, there's an interview with Gareth Thomas. Is it ridiculously romantic that I thought of Ruth immediately and went to text her, only to remember that she's starting her new job today? Anyway, Ruth - I love you, read this bloody article, haha.

Also, Ianto Jones brings doughnuts to crime scenes. Owen Harper is not impressed. (From the start of the new three part short story, The Book of Jahi by David Llewellyn.)

Edit: I've had a little more time to read the mag and I noticed a very interesting thing that Eve says in her interview. Eve says that there is nakedness in series three - and not involving her. So perhaps John was telling the truth when he said we get to see him naked. Haha! WIN! Eve also mentions that she hasn't had many scenes yet with John and Gareth. And she's off filming a scene also featuring Gareth (who the magazine will be catching up with very soon) after the interview's over.

And there's a mention of Gwen interrupting Jack and Ianto in Adrift in this little collation of Gwen's best bits that runs along the bottom of Eve's interview:

Three's a Crowd (Adrift)
Jack and Ianto's blooming relationship may have been the worst kept secret in the Hub, but Gwen still wasn't prepared to catch them playing 'naked hide and seek' in the hothouse! It's hard to say whose look was the more priceless...

That came number 5 by the way, out of 10, =D

squee, torchwood magazine, omg
