And... the numbers are starting to explode. Over 100 cases higher in the last week! We made our last big store purchases last weekend, and so we're now ready to stay home again for weeks or even months. Not fun, but our nation is run by idiots and assholes, so...
Most of the people in my area are mask-compliant, but not all!
Yesterday, I went to my special Medicaid pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions as I must once a month. There is a clinic attached to this place and they share a lobby. They have signs and you have to get your temp taken, and they have a nurse at the doors. But I wonder why, because a family of mother, teen daughter, and 9 year old son were there without masks, and no one made them put on masks or leave!
They were ahead of me in line at the pharmacy and the pharmacist was trying to tell them how to use a topical medication for the teen girl's face (acne meds?) It took forever because the girl was goofing around and the son was a hyperactive crazy-bot who literally rolled around on the floor and was touching everything. I stayed in a far corner to put as much distance between myself and them as I could!
The mother was a "poor, white trash" type and her kids were out of control. They came to the clinic in a beat-up white pick-up truck with Trumper stickers on it. The IRONY of someone who supports a president who wants to get rid of medicaid using medicaid resources!! Crazy!
